World Environment Day is a global event celebrated every year on June 5th to encourage awareness and action for protecting the environment.  As stewards of God’s creation, we are called to care for the earth, for “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof” (Psalm 24:1 KJV).   Psalms 24:1 KJV  “(A Psalm of David.) The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”

Let’s face it—when you graduate, the world starts throwing glitter at your face. ✨“Get the bag!” “Chase the dream!” “Marry rich!” (Seriously, Auntie?!)  But no one talks about guarding your heart while doing all that running.

 

Proverbs 4:23  KJV  “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV  “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?”

Love comes from truth. Where there is no truth-there is no real love. Beware of imposters.

 

Translation? Your heart is a VIP—don’t let just anyone or anything get backstage.

Some people ignore the red flags waving like parade floats. That new friend who talks over your dreams? 🚩 That job offer that pays well but steals your peace? 🚩 That “situationship” with someone who doesn’t even pray over fries? 🚩🚩🚩

We ignore warning signs like they’re suggestions. But God isn’t playing games—He shows us who people are and what paths are risky. Just ask but be prepared to accept God’s answer.

 

😘😘😘Takeaway: Guard your heart. Don’t just follow your feelings—follow God’s wisdom. Every shiny opportunity isn’t divine. Some are distractions with a heartbreak warranty.

If you’re going to protect anything in this “succeed-or-fail” world, make it your heart. Not your follower count. Not your LinkedIn profile. Your heart is where your faith, peace, and joy live. Keep it locked, guarded, and given only to God-approved guests.
