June weddings are beautiful—flowers blooming, birds singing, and photographers catching every kiss in slow-mo. But by July?  Some couples are already asking: “Wait… who did I marry?!”

 

Amos 3:3 KJV “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

 

Translation: If you and your spouse aren’t on the same spiritual page, you’re not on the same path. And if you’re walking in different directions, guess what? Eventually someone’s going to trip.

Too many people prepare for the wedding day but not for married life. You picked out table linens together, but did you pick out a church? You took dance lessons, but did you pray together? You fasted for the dress, but did you fast for wisdom?

Takeaway: Spiritual agreement is the foundation of a lasting marriage. Without it, one person is building a love nest and the other’s renting emotional storage space. If Jesus isn’t the center, don’t be surprised when confusion moves in.

God doesn’t want couples just walking down the aisle—He wants them walking in agreement.
