                 Angela Clark, M.Ed Author

Facilitator of the Word and the  Gospel of Jesus Christ

Hello, my name is Angela Clark, M.Ed.  I am a professional writer, instructor, and blogger.  I am the author and owner of Daily Scripture Explained.

I have been a Christian for over 50 years and love all my sisters and brothers in Jesus Christ, regardless of their age, sex, or nationality.  My faith has shaped my life, and I am passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others.

I am a current and in good standing member of a Christian Church in the Metro Atlanta, Ga area.  I love the assembling of the saints on Sunday mornings.

I have a Master of Education in Instructional Design, and I have used my skills to create resources that help people learn about Jesus Christ and his gift of salvation.

I am a former University Librarian and current business owner of Instructional Writers (Metro Atlanta, GA).  I use my work experience to serve others and spread  the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  I do not charge to teach the Gospel.

I believe that everyone deserves to know about the love of God, and I am committed to helping people learn more about Jesus Christ and his gift of salvation.

Faith: I love, fear, and obey God.  Jesus is Lord over my life. John 3:16 reassures me that those who believe in Jesus will have eternal life.

Belief: In my heart, I firmly believe that God raised Jesus (the incarnate Son of God) from the dead, making him the world’s savior, granting forgiveness of sins through repentance and salvation.

I believe that there is one and only one living and true God: an infinite holy spirit, the Creator, all-powerful, all-knowing, and predestined. He is the ruler of the universe, to whom we owe the highest love, reverence, and obedience.

He is revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence, or being.   John 4:24KJV; Psalm 147:5KJV; Psalm 100:3 KJV;  Mark 12:30-31KJV; Revelation 4:11KJV   Revelation 19:5 KJV  John 1:14KJV

1 Corinthians 12:13  “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”

John 10:30  “I and my Father are one.”  Psalms 100:3“Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.”

Galatians 3:26-29 KJV 26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you, as have been baptized into Christ, have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Ephesians 2:8 KJV  “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

John 14:6 KJV  “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.”

Romans 10:13 KJV  For whosoever shall call (pray) upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

My Story:

My parents raised me and my sister in the church.  My mother made sure we went every Sunday.   I was baptized when I was nine years old.  I sang in the choir until I graduated from high school. Then I left for college and graduated from a Christian College, Mercer University.  My grandmother taught me to read the bible at a very young age, eight years old, by letting me read the bible to her as she prepared her evening meals.

Sometimes, I could not pronounce the words. She would pronounce them or finish a sentence as she kept working, not missing a beat or looking at what I was reading. Years later, I discovered that my grandmother could not read.  She knew the bible by memory and heart. She had raised 10 children. Not one served any prison time or gave her trouble.

The men farmed, learned trades, and were entrepreneurs (construction) because there were not many good-paying jobs for African Americans in the area during that time. My grandmother taught me to learn the bible and love it. I am so glad she did.  I enjoyed growing up with my cousins. If anyone was poor we were not aware of it. I live in Metro Atlanta, GA  I have an  adult daughter, no pets, and I am a widow.

Even though there are many praise names for God and names before translations of the King James Version of the Bible, Old, and New Testaments. I subscribe to: God the Father(I AM) who is also the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob; The Holy Spirit who is the comforter; and Jesus Christ who is the Son of God and I AM.  I pray to the Father (God), which art in heaven,  in Jesus’ name.  Luke 11: 1-2 KJV

I am a Christian and believe in Jesus Christ and subscribe to the Trinity. Even though the religious term may not be present in the bible. you will find the belief requirement is there.  Jesus Christ is Lord, and The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one. I believe the Trinity is accepted by God just as the name Jesus Christ translated is accepted.

Most religions have religious terms that do not take away from their faith or cause condemnation.  They are accepted as part of the organizing of the church and its various denominations.  There is no condemnation in Jesus Christ. Condemnation is in the rejection of Jesus Christ.  See below the Trinity section for more explanation.

Romans 8:1 KJV  “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

John 8:58 KJV  “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Acts 3-13 KJV   13The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate when he was determined to let him go. 14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 15And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

Acts 4:12  “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Matthew 28:18-19  18 “And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in the earth.”  19“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

I do not charge to teach the gospel or for the  prayer services of dailyscriptureexplained.com.  ePrayer Circle’s content policy is that all claims are backed by scripture as to be on the authoritative words of God and not myself or others.

1 Corinthians 9:18 KJV  “What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.”

TRINITY

The “Doctrine of the Trinity” was written for founders, priests, ministers, higher councils, and leaders of the Christian churches so everyone could operate their perspective churches on the same beliefs and faith, thereby having unity.  It developed a statement for believers to be able to verbalize their faith.

Trinity statement:  We believe that one true God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these, being one God, are equal in deity, power, and glory. We believe the Trinity is without division of nature, essence, or being (1 John 5:7; Matthew 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

It is important to know that the Christian faith is accepted by God as well as the translated name of Jesus Christ.  God is alive and you can have a very real personal relationship with him through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The most important thing to know is that the Trinity concept is in the bible even if the actual exact word is not: The concept of believing in Jesus Christ and knowing the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one are the core messages of the faith, regardless of the denomination.

Romans 10:13 KJV 13For whosoever shall call (pray) upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.  (Baptism).

John 10:30  “I and my Father are one.”  Psalms 100:3“Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture.”

Isaiah 9:6 KJV: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Colossians 1:15-17 15Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17And he is before all things, and by him, all things consist.

Therefore, the Father, Word (Son), and Holy Spirit are one spirit and one God as stated in the King James Bible.  1 John 5:7  “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”  Colossians 2:9-10 KJV  9“For in him (Christ) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”  10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

John 14: 5-11 KJV   5Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? 10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

Note:  Before Jesus’s crucifixion, He told the disciples he would pray to the Father to send them the Holy Spirit, the Comforter.  (John 14:16)

After Jesus’s crucifixion, he rose from the dead and breathe the Holy Spirit on some of the disciples.  This demonstrates an increase in power.

After he rose from the grave, Jesus did not have to pray to the Father to send the Holy Spirit to the disciples.  (John 7:39 Holy Spirt came after Jesus was glorified)

Matthew 28:18-19  18 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in the earth.”  19“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.”

I agree with an old gospel song that:  “Jesus is the lily of the valley, Savior of the world, and God of all nations”.

Non-Denominational Churches

Note: Trinity is an acceptable religious term that defines the beliefs of the Christian religion.  There are many non-denomination churches that do not use Christianity terms but believe in Jesus Christ and know the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are one.

They pray to the Father in Jesus Christ’s name and they teach from a version of the King James Bible.  This is acceptable to God as defined in the King James Bible. The faith has to accept Jesus as the Son of God (flesh) and he has God in him and died for our sins.  Be careful, I have seen many churches announce they believe in one thing on their website but once you start listening to their messages, it is different.  They call that switch and bait. There are many cults.  That is one reason you should read and study the bible for yourself.

John 14:6 KJV  “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.

Note:  Be very careful about whose name you pray to and always pray in Jesus’s name. Jesus’ name is the forgiveness of sins and without it, there is no forgiveness of sins.  There is no other name higher than Jesus Christ.  The Father and Jesus are one.

Ephesians 4- 7  4There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 7But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men.

TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR DESTINY

We should seek to understand the Word that God has given us and follow the directions that the Holy Spirit provides. You may read scripture that may mean one thing to you and later according to your needs, the same scripture can mean something else that will help you. That is the Holy Spirit guiding you.

Matthew 22:29 KJV  “Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

2 Timothy 2:15 KJV  “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Deuteronomy 18-21  KJV  18Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. 19And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sit in thine house, and when thou walk by the way when thou lie down, and when thou rise up. 20And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates: 21That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

Many can read and understand but cannot teach for understanding, simply because their teachings and advice are based on their own experiences, educational knowledge, and limited abilities and not the scripture (even though they know the scripture) and the supernatural powers of God.

Some teachings are modified to satisfy politics and people who pay or give money.  Jesus Christ was charged with blasphemy and crucified because of politics.  His disciple Judas betrayed Jesus with a kiss to identify him to his enemies for money.

If they are saved, God may not have ordained them for the work.  They may not have a personal relationship with him because they committed sins that disqualify them from facilitating the word.  They may not obey him consistently.  If you find teachings, not in compliance with the word of God, do not be impressed or persuaded by credentials or lifestyle influences but by every Word of God.  Daily Scripture Explained content policy is that all claims are backed by scripture as to be on the authoritative words of God and not myself or others.

The Bible and teachings of Jesus Christ can be understood by everyday people. You do not need a degree. Confess that “Jesus is Lord” over your life. Read a study bible or participate in a challenge as eprayer circle’s challenges are study guides, listen to podcasts or watch videos of the Gospels-offered freely on Daily Scripture Explained site and its YouTube playlist,  find a church home, and get baptized if you are not baptized.

Attending church is the assembling of God’s people. He wants us to fellowship.  We pray and help each other. It is assembling of like minds.  With so much going on today, I can’t imagine not going to a holy place of worship.  In addition, God’s spirit is present in his house whereas, he may not come to some places due to sin. Don’t miss your blessing.

The Lord is Holy.  His house is a place of prayer and worship. Honor the Lord properly. Would you visit someone who never visited you and you had a relationship with them?  I am aware of people experiencing church hurt. Forgive, give it to God, and keep it moving to do what is required of you.  Always due your due diligence and make sure you chose the right church for you. I am in Atlanta, Ga.  There is a church on every corner.  Remember, no church will be perfect and neither are the people who attend, including you.

The Bible is a roadmap for your life and should be read often throughout your life. Prayer is how we speak to our living God in Jesus Christ’s name. Make sure you develop that relationship with prayer, fear, love, respect, gratitude, and thanksgiving.

Revelation 19:6  “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundering, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigns.”
