Let’s talk about a kind of pain that many people hide.
What do you do when your own home feels cold?
When people live together, but do not truly know each other?
When every word feels sharp, and even simple talk turns into hurt?
This is not just a people problem. It is a spiritual battle.
The enemy, Satan, works in quiet ways. He pushes isolation. He stirs up quick offense. He uses anger to divide hearts that should be joined in love. Over time, people stop trying. They protect themselves. Walls go up. Peace leaves.
But here is the truth:
Peace was never meant to come from people first. It comes from Christ.
Jesus, the Prince of Peace, walked into a room full of fearful disciples and said, “Peace be unto you” (John 20:19 KJV). Nothing in the room had changed yet—but His presence changed everything.
“Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.”
That same peace is offered to you.
In counseling, a person once shared, “I cannot change my home, but I want peace.” The answer was simple but powerful:
Pray for wisdom and knowledge. Even if a mental problem is suspected. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you.
Start with your spirit. Let God rule there first. Then say one sincere nice thing a day, regardless of how you feel.
Whether at work, school or home or all three, give a sincere compliment or say, “How was your day?”
They began to pray before speaking.
They chose not to answer every harsh word.
They forgave daily—even when it felt unfair.
Over time, something changed. Not everything around them—but everything within them.
Their voice softened.
Their reactions slowed.
Their heart rested.
And others began to notice.
This is the work of the Holy Spirit. He teaches us not to take offense so quickly. He guards our hearts from filling with anger. He gives us strength to forgive again and again.
People who hold onto grudges often carry heavy spirits. It shows in their tone, their face, and their words. But those who walk with Christ carry something different—peace, patience, and a gentle spirit.
That is true maturity.
Peace is not the absence of conflict.
Peace is the presence of Jesus within you.

A CALL TO SALVATION:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-109That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-65Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
