They change the mood, lift hearts, and invite God in. So before you speak, sift the atmosphere. Is it full of mess? Sprinkle some grace!

You’re in a group chat, and someone starts dragging a coworker. Everyone jumps in with sarcasm and shade. But you respond, “Let’s pray for them.” BOOM—grace grenade! That’s sifting the atmosphere. You just flipped the vibe like a holy ninja.
Bible Story:
In 1 Samuel 25 KJV, Abigail used wise, kind words to stop King David from wiping out her whole household. Her husband Nabal talked trash and stirred up trouble, but Abigail sifted the atmosphere with grace and saved lives. David even thanked her for keeping him from doing something foolish!
