Jeremiah 9:24 KJV says, “But let him that gloried glory in this, that he understand and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.”
This verse reminds us that true glory doesn’t come from riches, power, or wisdom. Instead, we should rejoice in knowing and understanding God. When we know Him, we see His lovingkindness, His perfect judgment, and His righteousness in everything He does.

God delights when we draw near to Him, seeking His truth and walking in His ways.
In contrast, warns about false wisdom and deceit. It says, “How do ye say, We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us? Lo, certainly in vain made he it; the pen of the scribes is in vain.
“ The people claimed to follow God, but their actions proved otherwise. Their leaders spoke lies, and they turned away from God’s truth. They lacked shame for their sins and refused to repent, even as God’s warnings surrounded them.
These verses are a warning for us today. Knowing God isn’t about just reading the Bible or going to church—it’s about living in a way that reflects His character. It’s about seeking His guidance in every decision, loving others as He loves us, and turning from sin.
To glorify God, we must examine our hearts. Are we living in God’s truth, or are we deceived by false teachings or pride? When we know God personally, He fills us with His peace and wisdom.

Reflection Question:
Do you glorify God by understanding and knowing Him, or are there areas where you need to seek His truth more deeply?
Focus on God’s Word daily, and let His lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness shape your life. When we truly know Him, we can glorify Him with our hearts and actions.
