“…lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
—Matthew 28:20 (KJV)

Lesson:
God doesn’t just sit in heaven with His arms crossed—He’s in the trenches with those who serve! Whether it’s soldiers in uniform or spiritual warriors in prayer, God sees every battle.

On Armed Forces Day, let’s remember that God honors courage, loyalty, and those who stand up to protect others. He gave victory to armies in the Bible—and He still gives strength today. And bonus? He never goes AWOL.( Absent Without Official Leave) God promises to be with us always!

Real-World Example:
Think of a soldier overseas, far from home. It’s hot, dusty, and quiet—but then they get a letter from home that says, “We’re proud of you. God is with you.” That little piece of paper becomes a shield in their heart. Encouraging words are spiritual armor!

Bible Story:
In 2 Chronicles 20 KJV, King Jehoshaphat and his army were outnumbered and overwhelmed. But instead of panicking, they prayed. God told them, “The battle is not yours, but mine.” The next day, they praised God—and their enemies got confused and destroyed each other! Victory came through faith and praise, not just swords.

Zechariah 4:6  KJV  “Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”

Reflection Question:
How can I use my words today to encourage someone in a battle—on the field or in life?

A CALL TO SALVATION:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
