Scripture: “…joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth…” —Luke 15:7 KJV
Dear Truth Seekers,
There’s something I feel led to share with you today—and I pray it reaches the heart it’s meant for.
Some of you may feel like you’ve gone too far to come back to God. Maybe you slipped. Maybe you walked away from your calling. Maybe it’s been months—or even years—since you really felt close to Jesus and have not attended during that time. Now you carry shame like a heavy backpack, wondering if your time with God has passed you by.
You see others strong in their faith and think, “That can’t be me anymore.” The voice of condemnation grows louder than the whisper of conviction. You ask yourself, “Why would God still want me?”
But I have good news: Heaven’s still cheering for you.
You are never too far. You are never too broken. You are never too late. Let’s talk about it.

Years ago, I worked a stressful job with double shifts and difficult coworkers. Some were secret alcoholics, others were heavy partiers, and many just carried a lot of negativity. At the same time, I had a small child at home who needed me. The pressure was too much. I started to feel worn out—spiritually and emotionally.
For a few weeks, I stopped going to church. I wasn’t mad at God—I was just exhausted. I was all churched out. Nothing was changing. I felt empty and didn’t know what to do.
Then, on the third Sunday, I turned on a church service on TV. Afterward, I opened my Bible and read a verse that shook me. Jesus said in Matthew 28:20 (KJV),
“Lo, I am with you always.” And Hebrews 13:5 KJV reminds us, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”
I realized something powerful: God had not left me—I had drifted away from Him. He was still waiting for me, with love and open arms.
Isaiah 41:10 KJV “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
Hebrews 10:25 (KJV) reminded me,
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together… but exhorting one another.”
God calls us to worship together—to be lifted up and to lift others.
That week, I prayed and did a personal devotion. It gave me peace. I returned to church the next Sunday, and during the service, I felt a soft wind blow through the room. I knew it was the Holy Spirit. I left church that day changed. My job was still hard, but I wasn’t overwhelmed anymore. God gave me peace, strength, and a plan to move forward.
These verses show that God is not distant—He is present and calling. But often, people are too distracted, discouraged, or disobedient to answer.
Jeremiah 7:13 (KJV): “And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the Lord, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;”
Luke 15:7 KJV gives us a glimpse into the very heart of God: “Joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth…”
Heaven doesn’t respond with judgment—it responds with a celebration.
Repentance is not about perfect words. It’s about a turn. A turn away from sin. A turn away from shame. A turn back to God. And even if your faith feels small, even if your prayer is messy or your steps are shaky—God rejoices in your return.
Now, let me speak to something else I’ve seen on many hearts:
Some people think God won’t forgive them because they haven’t forgiven themselves. But let me remind you—forgiveness is God’s decision, not yours. He already chose mercy when Jesus gave His life for you. Don’t block your blessing by holding on to what He already died to set you free from. Don’t allow others to do the same. God can’t heal you or use you to his glory if you are not believing in his word.
Give yourself a chance. Live free in Jesus Christ. Renew your faith by repenting—all of it. Every sin. Every wound. Every secret thought. Just have a private conversation with Him. He’s listening.
And don’t assume someone else is closer to God than you. The truth is, you may be the one God wants to use to pray for them. That’s the power of grace—it flips the script.
This is why Jesus shed His blood:
To offer you a personal, healing relationship at no cost. He is the best friend you’ll ever have. And He died for you.
What’s holding you back from turning fully toward God today?
So don’t stay stuck. Don’t stay ashamed.
Come home. Heaven is still cheering. See salvation offer below.

Romans 10:17 KJV “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
A CALL TO SALVATION:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
