Father’s Day is a joyful time for many. But for others, it can bring tears and heartache. If you’ve lost your dad, this day may feel more like a reminder of what’s missing than a celebration.

Jesus knew that sorrow would visit us, especially when we lose someone we love. That’s why He gave us these comforting words:

Jesus was speaking to His disciples, but His promise is for us too. Heaven is real. And if your father died in Christ, you will see him again. That reunion will be full of peace, joy, and no more tears.

God knows the pain of separation. Even Jesus wept when His friend Lazarus died. But grief is not the end of the story for believers. There’s a greater day coming—one without goodbyes.

Take comfort today in knowing your dad is not lost, just waiting. In a mansion made by the hands of Jesus Himself.
