“But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.”
Galatians 5:15 (KJV)

Lesson:
Have you ever seen teammates fighting each other during the game? That’s called friendly fire—and it’s not so friendly! In Galatians 5:15 KJV, Paul warns Christians not to “bite and devour” each other with mean words, gossip, and drama. That’s not spiritual fruit—that’s spiritual fast food with a side of destruction!

Real-World Example:
Think of a family game night that turns into World War III because someone cheated at Uno. 😬 Instead of laughter, there’s yelling. Instead of bonding, there’s blaming. That’s what happens when teammates—family, church members, coworkers—turn on each other. The enemy doesn’t even have to fight us… we do it for him!

Bible Story:
Miriam and Aaron talked badly about their own brother Moses (Numbers 12:1–10 KJV). God heard them, and guess what? Miriam ended up with leprosy! God was not pleased with their “team attack.” Moses prayed for her healing, showing real leadership—and love.

Story: Joseph and His Brothers (Genesis 37 KJV)
Joseph’s brothers were supposed to be his team—his own family. But jealousy got the best of them. They threw him in a pit and sold him into slavery because they didn’t like that he had big dreams.

That’s some serious friendly fire! Years later, Joseph could’ve paid them back, but instead, he forgave them and saved their lives during a famine. Talk about turning a backstab into a blessing!

This version teaches teamwork, forgiveness, and what happens when we attack instead of support those closest to us.

Reflection Question:
Do my words build up the people on my team—or tear them down?

A CALL TO SALVATION:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
