..Jesus rode in on a donkey, not a fancy horse
People waved their palm leaves, shouting praise, of course!
But not all folks were happy — some were mean and mad,
They didn’t like His kindness, and that made them real sad ….
They put Him on a wooden cross up on a hill so high
He wore a crown of thorns, but didn’t even cry
He could’ve called some angels down to stop it all
But He stayed up there to catch us when we fall…
The tomb was sealed, the stone was round,
Guards stood watch and stayed around.
But early Sunday, light did shine —
Jesus walked out — ALIVE, just fine!
He died – but He rose!
Three days, then He rose!
When we repent, our sins are gone,
We’re part of God’s forever team!
No need to fear, no need to hide.
We walk in love, with Him as our guide…
Jesus is Lord. Amen…
