Bible Study:
Grace means God loves and forgives us, even when we don’t deserve it. We can’t earn it by being good or doing works. It is a gift. That’s why Jesus died for us. We do good works not to be saved but because we are already saved.
On Easter, we remember the greatest gift of grace: Jesus Christ was crucified for our sins, even though He was perfect. He did nothing wrong. But He took the punishment we deserved so that we could be saved. Three days later, He rose from the dead. That showed us His power over sin and death. His resurrection is our hope.
Real-World Example:
Imagine someone gives you a brand-new car for free. You didn’t pay for it or work for it—they just love you that much. Would you try to earn it afterward by mowing their lawn every day? No! The best way to respond is to accept it with thanks and take care of the gift. That’s how God’s grace works. We accept it with faith and live in a way that honors Him—not to earn it, but because we’re grateful.
