📖 Bible Story: The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11–32)

In Jesus’ parable of the Prodigal Son, we meet a young man who took his inheritance and left home, wasting everything in reckless living. When he hit rock bottom—starving and feeding pigs—he finally realized the depth of his sin and decided to return home, ashamed and broken.

But what did his father do? He didn’t scold or reject him. Instead, the father ran to meet him, embraced him, and celebrated his return with joy. This story paints a vivid picture of God’s infinite and mighty mercy. Despite how far we go, the moment we turn back, God welcomes us with open arms.
