If God is Good All The Time, Then Remember All The Time God is Good.

Psalms 31:19 KJV  “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!”

Life can be tough sometimes, and it’s easy to feel down when things don’t go as planned. But there’s a special message in the Bible that reminds us to stay hopeful and trust in God. In Psalms 31:19 of the King James Version, it says, “Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!”

This verse tells us about God’s incredible goodness, which He keeps for those who respect and trust Him. So, when you face challenges, remember a few key things:

1. Do Your Best

God doesn’t expect you to be perfect; He just wants you to try your best. Whether it’s doing your homework, helping a friend, or playing a sport, give it your all. Your efforts matter, and doing your best is all anyone can ask for.  Christians are not perfect They are Just Forgiven.

2. Don’t Beat Yourself Up

Everyone makes mistakes, and that’s okay. What’s important is that you learn from them and keep moving forward. If you didn’t do as well on a test as you hoped, instead of being hard on yourself, think about what you can do better next time. Remember, even the most successful people have faced failures. Most people who have successful businesses had five businesses before that failed. They learned from their mistakes.

3. Trust in God

When things get tough, have faith that God is looking out for you. His goodness is there for those who trust in Him. Just like the verse says, He has great things planned for you if you believe in Him and keep a positive attitude. Chalk up mistakes to experience.

4. Stay Positive

Keeping a positive attitude can make a big difference. It helps you stay hopeful and motivated. When you trust that God has good things in store for you, it becomes easier to stay positive and keep going, even when times are hard.  Your  attitude determines your altitude.

So, don’t beat yourself up when things don’t go perfectly. Do your best, trust in God, and remember that His goodness is always there for you.

Action Steps on Staying Centered

Practice Daily Meditation

1. Set aside a few minutes each day for meditation. Focus on your breathing, clear your mind, and visualize a place that brings you peace. Consistent meditation can help you stay calm and centered.

2. Create a Gratitude Journal – . Each day, write down a few things you are grateful for. This simple practice can shift your focus from stress to appreciation, helping you maintain a positive outlook and stay centered.

3.  Give a Sincere Compliment or Small Talk – Tell someone something nice. Did you know that some people don’t have anyone to say anything nice to them or talk to all day?   Your speaking and acknowledging them with a smile will get you a smile back. Lifting both spirits.  Be careful of strangers. Don’t put yourself in a position to be a victim.  Start at home with family and friends.   Example:  This is a nice day or just smile and be happy.

4. Engage in Physical Activity – Regular exercise can greatly improve your mental and emotional well-being. Whether it’s a walk in the park, yoga, or a fitness routine, physical activity can help you stay centered and reduce stress.

5. Drink Plenty of Water.  Water regulates the body and keeps things under control.

Keep these steps in mind, and you’ll find it easier to stay grounded even when life gets hectic. Remember, staying centered is about balancing your mind, body, and spirit.

Reflection Question

Reflect on a time when you felt overwhelmed and relied on your faith or inner strength to overcome it. What did you learn about yourself and your relationship with God during that experience? In life, do you see the glass half full or half empty?

Conclusion

Next time you feel down or discouraged, remember the words of Psalms 31:19 KJV. Trust in God’s goodness, do your best, and let Him take care of the rest. You’re never alone, and there’s always hope for a brighter tomorrow! 🌟

By following these simple steps, you’ll not only feel better, but you’ll also be shining God’s light for everyone around you to see. Keep the faith and keep moving forward! 🚀
