ePrayer Room: Strap Up. Equip Your Family for Spiritual Battles with Powerful Prayer and Faith”

Spiritual Warfare for Believers and Loved Ones

In our daily lives, we face many challenges that can feel like battles. This is known as spiritual warfare. Believers and their loved ones, especially children, can fight these battles with the sword of God, which is His Word, and faith.

Hebrews 4:12 KJV says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

This scripture means God’s Word is powerful and can help us understand our hearts and minds. In addition, it defeats unholy spirits and attacks.

To fight spiritual battles, we need to pray and read the Bible. Ephesians 6:11 KJV tells us, “Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Prayer helps us put on this armor. By praying, we ask God for protection and strength.

We also need faith, as stated in Ephesians 6:16: “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.”

Teaching our children (regardless of age)  to pray and read the Bible is important. More important is to pray WITH our children. This demonstrates to them the importance and understanding that they need to turn to God for help and protection.

Prayer and belief in God will help them in their time of need when you are not available.   In difficult times, God’s Word and our faith can guide us and keep us strong.

ePrayer for Protection and Strength During Times of Spiritual Warfare.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your protection and strength during times of spiritual warfare. We know that Your Word is powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. Lord, equip us and our loved ones, especially our children, with the full armor of God. Help us to stand firm against the wiles of the devil.

We pray for Your shield of faith to guard our hearts and minds, and for Your Word to guide us and give us discernment. Teach us to rely on Your strength and to seek You in prayer daily. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, so that we may overcome every challenge and remain steadfast in our faith.

Father, we ask for Your protection over our family. Surround us with Your angels and keep us safe from harm. Help us to teach our children to turn to You in times of trouble and to trust in Your mighty power.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
