The Gospel consists of the four books in the New Testament that gives the teachings of Jesus Christ, written by John, Luke, Mark, and Matthew.
Overview of the Gospel of Mark:
Mark “Mark John” is also known as “John” in the Book of Acts. He is not John the Baptist. Peter (disciple) was a mentor to Mark. Mark did not walk with Jesus but ministered under Peter. Peter called Mark, his son. Mark’s work was written in Italy around A.D. 50-70 before the Book of Acts. Mark’s work is referred to as the “Memoirs of Peter” because he was very close to the disciple Peter and listen to everything Peter said. The Gospel of Luke borrowed a lot of Mark’s notes.
The Gospel of Mark focuses on the miracles that Jesus performed while spreading his ministry in Galilee. Mark’s Gospel emphasizes Jesus Christ’s human nature, emotions, and limitations. *Note: This side of Jesus demonstrates that there aren’t any human conditions that he is not aware of and therefore his believers can know that he understands our problems and situations.

Summary of lesson three and lesson four
Chapter 3: Jesus’ intentions for the observance of the Sabbath and the way believers should live are based on the essence of his Holy Spirit – love, truth, and preserving life. God is love. 1 John 4:8 “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.” Jesus teaches that a house and kingdom divided will fall and that Satan does not go against himself as he does not divide himself. One example is organized crime groups. They demand complete loyalty and will kill a member if they are identified as a betrayer. There is no forgiveness. They tell the members, not to betray the family but they really mean do not betray Satan. The FBI has revealed the strongest weapon the gang has is loyalty. They do everything together: live, sleep and play together.
Therefore, the one sin is 28Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:29But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness but is in danger of eternal damnation:
Note: One reason God wants us to glorify and praise him is to make sure your loyalty is with him. he will hear his spirit. We pray and praise through the holy spirit which makes us family in the Kingdom of God. God house is not divided. He knows your heart but he wants you to know it. Psalms 150:6KJV “Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.”
Jesus’ consideration of his disciples, followers, and believers is that everyone that does the will of God is held in closeness as a family member. Mark 3:35KJVFor whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
Chapter 4 Jesus prayed for disciples and believers before being crucified. Salvation is offered to all but there are some that have pledged to Satan and other Gods and will not convert or accept Jesus. These will not understand the parables. John 17:9 “I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are mine.”
Then Jesus told them a candle gives light and is not put under a bed. Therefore, the Word is a light to those who receive it. 22For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was anything kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
37And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship so that it was now full. 38And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and the disciples awake him, and say unto him, Master, cares thou not that we perish? 39And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? How is it that ye have no faith? 41And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is the Spirit.
