James 1:5 KJV – “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally…”  

Sometimes we jump into things without thinking. We say yes too fast. We trust people too soon. We start things without praying first. Then, later, we regret it.

God doesn’t want us to live like that. He gave us wisdom so we can make better choices. Wisdom means stopping, praying, and trusting God to lead you—not just guessing your way through life.

Bible Story Example: Remember King Saul? In 1 Samuel 13, he didn’t wait for the prophet Samuel like God said. He got scared and made a sacrifice himself. That decision cost him the kingdom! If only he had waited and trusted God’s timing, things would’ve gone differently.

Real World Example:
Tanya had three job offers. One paid more, one had better hours, and one was close to home. She wanted to jump into the highest-paying job. But she paused, prayed, and asked God. God led her to choose the one with peace—even though it paid less. A year later, it turned into her dream career.

Trusting God is better than guessing. His way is always right, even when we can’t see the whole picture.
