Who is Whispering in Your Child’s Ear?

It is so important to keep tabs on our children because cell phones and technology connect them to the world.  There are stories of parents retrieving cell phones  addressed to their underage child out the mail box. These are phones that strangers sent to by pass parental permissions.

However, what about friends, or relatives that talk to your children on cell phones or an estranged parent due to separation or divorce?  Your child may take these people in confidence who may give good advice or bad advice, advice against your parental rules.

These conversations can confuse and develop rebellious attitudes in your children that stay with them throughout adulthood and can change the dynamics of your relationship with your children.  Even grandparents whom have good intentions may not give the best advice. They love their grandchildren and want them to do whatever they want. :).  Their grandchildren can do no wrong.   What does the bible say?

Your children belong to God and YOU are the caretaker.  Your responsibility is not only to your children to keep them safe but to God as well.  You should keep tabs on who is talking to your children and what they are telling them.  No one says it will be easy but it will be worth it.

If you need help go to God.  He is the best counselor and free of charge.  No appointment necessary. Trust him and his grace will guide you and help you. It is so important that you pray with your children and for your children so God’s angels can be with them and protect them.  Teach your children songs or hymns so they will know how to comfort themselves when you are not around.  Teach them about God and make sure they get saved. See offer to salvation below. Don’t forget the motherless and fatherless.

A CALL TO SALVATION:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
