Waiting is not passive. Andrew Murray emphasizes that waiting requires expectation — not merely stopping, but leaning forward in hope. As Psalm 62:5 KJV says, “My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.”   While you are waiting you should be praying, fasting and praising God- Be still my soul  because you are guarding against the devourer.
