A prayer vision board is a powerful tool to align your goals with God’s Word, visualize your prayers, and deepen your faith. By combining affirmations, Bible verses, and a visual representation of your goals, you can focus your prayers and cultivate an obedient, purpose-driven life. Here’s how to create one and the top reasons to use it.

Matthew 6:30-34  KJV 30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

How to Create a Prayer Vision Board

Gather Supplies: Use a poster board or 8×10 piece of paper, magazines, markers, or digital tools. Include images, Bible verses, and affirmations.  Define Your Goals: Reflect on areas in your life where you seek God’s guidance: faith, relationships, health, and work.

You can draw your board with your own art work or scriptures and put it in a picture frame or paste it to the refrigerator. Some people use post it notes.  The main thing is to put it where you can SEE it daily.

Include Affirmation Scriptures: Select three Bible verses for each goal to remind you of God’s promises. Pray Over It: Dedicate your vision board to God, asking Him to bless and guide your plans.

Reflection
Creating a prayer vision board helps you align your life with God’s Word, fostering a deeper relationship with Him. As Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Let your vision board guide your prayers and declarations, ensuring your words align with God’s promises.

Reflection Question: What areas of your life could benefit from focused prayer and visualization through a prayer vision board?
