Many people talk about the law of attraction—the idea that what you think about, speak, and expect will show up in your life. But this principle is not new. It is found in the Word of God. The Bible shows us that our thoughts, words, and faith direct the course of our lives. God created the world with His Word, and He has given us the power to shape our lives through His truth.
Supporting Scriptures
Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) – “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
What we continually think about becomes who we are. If we think negative thoughts, we attract negativity. If we think on God’s promises, we attract His blessings.Mark 11:24 (KJV) – “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”
Jesus tells us that our prayers must be filled with faith. Believing before we see is the true heart of attraction.Galatians 6:7 (KJV) – “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
This reminds us that we attract what we sow. Kindness, faith, and love bring back blessings. Anger, bitterness, and doubt return the same.Isaiah 55:6-9 KJV: 6Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. These verses show us that when we seek God and align our thoughts with His higher ways, we attract His mercy, pardon, and blessings—because His thoughts and plans are far greater than ours.
Hebrews 11:6 KJV “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. This verse teaches that faith is the key to attraction: when we believe God exists and trust that He rewards those who seek Him, we draw His favor and promises into our lives.

Real-World Example
Have you ever noticed that when you buy a new car, suddenly you see that same car everywhere you go? Before, you hardly noticed it. That’s how focus works. The more attention you give something, the more it shows up in your awareness. It is the same with learning: if you set your heart on understanding something, you’ll start “running into” books, sermons, or conversations that confirm what you are seeking. This is not coincidence—it’s a spiritual principle.
Bible Story Example
In the book of Numbers 13 KJV, Moses sent twelve spies to view the promised land. Ten of them focused on the giants and the dangers, and they spread fear. But Joshua and Caleb focused on God’s promise and the fruit of the land. They declared, “Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it” (Numbers 13:30 KJV). The ten who focused on fear attracted defeat and death in the wilderness. Joshua and Caleb, who focused on faith, lived to inherit the promise. What they believed and expected became their reality.
Reflection
The law of attraction is not about empty wishes or worldly desires. It is about aligning our thoughts, words, and actions with God’s Word. When we focus on Him, we attract His will, peace, and prosperity into our lives. If you want change, begin with your heart and mind. Sow seeds of faith, gratitude, and obedience. Speak life over your family, health, and future. God promises that His Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11 KJV).
Ask yourself: What thoughts am I sowing today that will shape my tomorrow?
