Many people share the Word of God with different motives—some out of love, others for money, fame, politics, or even to condemn and deceive. But what does the Bible say about who should teach the Gospel, how it should be taught, and why it must be shared?

Scripture Focus
“Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.”Philippians 1:15–18 (KJV)

Luke 8:17 KJV17For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

2 Timothy 3:16 KJV  “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”

The Gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ—His birth, life, death, and resurrection. It is told in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Jesus commanded His followers to teach this Gospel to the whole world (Mark 16:15).

The end will not come until the Gospel has been taught all over the world. The message is clear: through the blood of Jesus, sin forgiven, peace, joy and love  and eternal life is given to all who believe. His completed work on the cross fulfilled the law and offered one perfect sacrifice for all time.

Matthew 5:17 KJV  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

The Power of the Blood of Jesus

  • Why He Shed His Blood: Jesus, the Lamb of God, was crucified for the forgiveness of sin. Sin is destructive—it destroys families, jobs, children, and ultimately brings death. But the blood of Jesus cleanses and restores.

  • The Benefits of the Blood: The blood of Jesus brings forgiveness, redemption, peace with God, and power to overcome all evil. “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony” (Revelation 12:11 KJV).

  • The Prophecy Fulfilled: ““For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”” (Isaiah 9:6 KJV). Jesus is King, and His kingdom cannot be shaken.

The Completed Work of Christ

Sin is serious business with eternal consequences. The law brought death, for no one could fully keep it. But Jesus, Son of God, through His one-time sacrifice, fulfilled the law and offered grace. He is the only sacrifice needed for all.  Think of the sun.  The earth gets more solar energy in one hour than the entire world uses in a year Source: Freeing Energy.com.  Retrieved from the internet on 9/19/2025.

“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God” (1 Peter 3:18 KJV).

Who Is to Teach the Gospel?

The World is evil

Alt Tag #The World is evil

All who believe in Jesus are called to share the Gospel—with children, families, neighbors, and nations. Evangelist, If it is rejected, you are not to argue but to shake the dust from your feet in a city or town. (Matthew 10:14 KJV).

Parents or Spouses, Don’t give up on your children or loved ones, even your parents, sisters or brothers. You have the right as a parent and believer to fight in the spirit for your children and love ones (prayer and fasting). That is love. Ask God to help you with that. He is the counselor.

Matthew 24:10-12 KJV  10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

The Reality of Mixed Motives and the Fire

Paul knew some preached Christ out of love, while others preached from envy or strife. But he rejoiced because Christ was still proclaimed. Yet Scripture reminds us that all work will be tested by fire:

“🔥❤️‍🔥🔥Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.”1 Corinthians 3:13 (KJV).

money

Alt tag: Simon the sorcerer trying to buy powers of the apostles

The Bible gives us an example in Acts 8:18–20 KJV, where Simon the sorcerer saw the apostles laying hands on believers and the Holy Ghost was given. Simon offered them money, hoping to buy this power so he could use it for his own gain. But Peter rebuked him, saying: “Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.” This story shows that when motives are wrong, God Himself will expose them on the Day of Judgment.

Ephesians 5:10 KJV  10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

house of prayer

Alt tag: #House of prayer

Matthew 21:12–13 (KJV)  12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,  13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

The Message Is Holy, Not the Messenger

It is not the singer that makes a song Holy—it is the message. Likewise, the Gospel is Holy because it is God’s truth, not because of the person who preaches it. A flawed vessel cannot diminish the power of God’s Word.

Called to Spread the Good News

bible 3

Alt tag: #bible 3

Jesus forgave sinners, even prostitutes, and sent them out changed to share the news of His mercy (John 8:11 KJV).

John 8:11 KJV  “She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

He commanded His disciples:
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”Mark 16:15 (KJV).

The Gospel must reach the whole world before the end:
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”Matthew 24:14 (KJV).

Yet if people reject it, we are not to argue endlessly. Jesus said:
“And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.”Matthew 10:14 (KJV).

Paul’s Example: Grace Cannot Be Bought

Paul made it clear that salvation is free. “What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.”1 Corinthians 9:18 (KJV).

He did not sell the Gospel, because God’s grace cannot be bought or earned. Salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

Peter declared this same truth when he saw the Holy Spirit fall on Gentiles:
“Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.” Acts 10:34–35 (KJV).

The Holy Spirit Will Guide You

Jesus promised that the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, would bring His teachings to our remembrance (John 14:26 KJV). That is why James 1:5 tells us to pray for wisdom, and God will give it generously. The Spirit equips us to teach our children, guide others, and boldly spread the Gospel.

Rejoicing in the Gospel

Paul’s perspective teaches us to rejoice whenever Christ is preached. Human motives will be judged, but the message of Jesus brings life. Our task is to spread the Gospel faithfully, in love, and leave the results to God.

Are you spreading the Gospel in love, trusting the Holy Spirit to guide you, even if others reject it?

Isaiah 55:6  KJV  “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:”

Closing Thought

The Gospel cannot be bought, silenced, or destroyed. It must be preached to every nation until the end comes. If rejected, move forward in peace—because God’s Word will stand forever.

The blood of Jesus is the foundation of our faith. It forgives, redeems, and gives victory over sin and evil. His sacrifice was once and for all, and now we are called to share the good news of His love and salvation. We are redeemed, reconciled, justified and santified by the blood of Jesus. It is not what we do but what he did.

Hebrew 13:8 KJV   8Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. 9Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

You cannot earn Grace:   Ephesians 2:8 KJV  “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

Isaiah 9:6 KJV  “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
