We are all family by faith in God because, through the covenant God made with Abraham, believers are united as spiritual descendants. In Genesis 12:3 KJV, God promised Abraham that through his seed, “all families of the earth be blessed.” This blessing is fulfilled in Jesus Christ, who came from Abraham’s lineage to offer salvation to all who believe.
In Galatians 3:29 KJV, Paul explains, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.” This means that faith in Jesus makes us part of God’s family, transcending biological ties.
