Luke 1:37 KJV  For with God nothing shall be impossible.   Ephesians 4:5 KJV  “One Lord, one faith, one baptism,”

As we step into 2025, it’s the perfect time to pause and reflect on your spiritual journey. Just like a car needs a tune-up to run smoothly, your soul needs regular care to stay on the path God has planned for you. A spiritual tune-up begins with believing in Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:5 (KJV), “One Lord, one faith, one baptism,” reminding us that salvation is simple.

There is only one way to God—through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. John 3:16 KJV promises, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” This year, take steps to renew your faith and experience the power of God’s Word, which never fails.

Take time to read all of the scriptures below and memorize them as to tell others especially family and friends. Then review the action steps and accept offer of salvation if you are not saved.  if you have any comments or a testimony of the day you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, please share in the comment section below.

John 1: 11 KJV  11He [Jesus] came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Psalm 100: 3-5 KJV  . 3Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Pray in the name of Jesus: Romans 10: 10-13 KJV10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Isaiah 9:6  KJV  “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Note;  To be saved, believers accept Jesus Christ as the Son of God in the flesh crucified as the blood sacrifice for each one of our sins upon repentance and remission of sins. He is Lord.  He is often referred to as the Lamb of God.  We also accept that Jesus resurrected from death and now in the spirit is fully God. We pray to God in Jesus’ name as to be presented fully blameless and with sin covered and forgiven by the blood of Jesus.  See offer of salvation below.

How to Begin Your Spiritual Tune-Up

1.Believe and Confess Jesus is Lord

Salvation starts with belief. Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord. Say it aloud: “I believe Jesus is the Son of God, he rose from the dead, and I accept Him as my Savior.” This simple act unlocks the door to a relationship with God.

2. Pray in Jesus’ Name

Talk to God from your heart. Pray: “Father, in Jesus’ name, I ask You to accept me as Your child. Give me wisdom and knowledge to know You, understand Your will, and grow in Your Word.” Prayer is a powerful tool to build your connection with the Lord.   See offer below for free online 45 Days to Learn the Gospel Challenge.

3.  Get Baptized

Seek a church that practices baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Choose one that places a strong emphasis on prayer, including altar prayer, as well as worship, praise, and communion. Communion, also known as the Lord’s Supper, is a meaningful ritual of remembering Jesus’ completed work on the cross.

It symbolizes that Jesus is in you, and you are in Him. Finally, participate in baptism, which represents dying to your old life and being raised to new life in Christ—a beautiful act of obedience to God. Then ask others to join you in going to church. Spread the good news.
This year, let your spiritual tune-up bring you closer to God and fill your life with His power and grace. Believe, pray, and follow Him—and watch Him transform your life.
