Your house hears you! No, your couch isn’t growing ears—but the atmosphere in your home changes with your words. Speaking life means saying good, kind, and God-filled things every day. You can bless your house simply by saying, “Lord, this home belongs to You. Let peace live here. Let love stay here. Let joy dance in every room!”

Real-World Example:
Imagine you walk into your kitchen and start yelling about how awful your day was, how broke you are, and how you can’t stand anyone. The milk goes sour faster, and even the dog hides. But when you say, “Thank You, Lord, for this roof, this fridge, and even this leftover chicken,” peace stays, and you find joy—even in reheated wings!

Bible Story:
Joshua stood tall in front of Israel and basically said, “Y’all can do what you want, but my house is rolling with God.” (Joshua 24:15 KJV) He made a choice to lead his home in worship, not worry. His decision blessed generations!

Jesus sent out His disciples, two by two, to preach the Gospel, heal the sick, and cast out unclean spirits. He told them to travel light—no extra money, clothes, or food. When they entered a house, they were to say, “Peace be to this house.”

If the people in that home were peaceful and received them, they were to stay there. But if the home or town rejected them and their message, Jesus said to leave and shake the dust off their feet as a testimony against them.
