A Humorous, Life-Giving Bible Study for the Curious, the Confused, and the Coffee-Drinking Crowd❤️❤️❤️.

Objective:
Introduce readers to Jesus Christ through the unique lens of the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), highlighting who wrote them, when they were written, the main theme of each, and how their message is still relevant today—scientifically and spiritually.

📖 Matthew: Jesus the King with a Resume Longer Than Yours
Author: Matthew, a former tax collector (yes, the IRS of his day—talk about a career change!)
Date: Around A.D. 60–65
Theme: Jesus is the promised Messiah and King
Key Verse: “Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass…”Matthew 21:5 KJV
Matthew cared about lineage and law. His Gospel links Jesus to Abraham and David, showing how Jesus checked every prophetic box. Royal lineage? ✔️ Miracles? ✔️ Preached on a mountaintop without a mic? ✔️

📖 Mark: Jesus the Action Hero—No Cape Required
Author: John Mark, a young assistant who learned from Peter. Think “intern with holy connections.”
Date: Around A.D. 55–60
Theme: Jesus the Suffering Servant and miracle-working Man of Action
Key Verse: ““For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for manyMark 10:45 KJV
Mark doesn’t waste time. It’s like the Gospel equivalent of a Marvel movie—BOOM! Healing! WHOOSH! Feeding 5,000! BAM! Walking on water! He shows Jesus as the busy Savior who meets needs and conquers darkness.

📖 Luke: The Doctor Will See You Now—Spiritually and Physically
Author: Luke, a physician and historian, who interviewed eyewitnesses, especially Paul’s circle.
Date: Around A.D. 60–61
Theme: Jesus the Healer of body, soul, and society
Key Verse: “To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins.” Luke 1:77 KJV
Luke diagnoses the world’s sickness: sin, division, fear, and spiritual confusion. His prescription? Jesus. The healing ministry of Jesus isn’t just for broken bones—it’s for broken hearts, broken families, and broken systems.

💡 Science says…
Studies from Harvard and Mayo Clinic show that forgiveness and belief in a higher power reduce anxiety, increase life expectancy, and promote emotional resilience. Luke would say, “Told you so.”

📖 John: Jesus is God with Skin On
Author: John, the beloved disciple, fisherman-turned-theologian, known for his poetic depth.  This author is not John the Baptist. John the Baptist died before the Gospel were written.
Date: Around A.D. 85–90
Theme: Jesus is the Son of God, full of grace and truth
Key Verse: ““But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.”” John 20:31 KJV
John skips the baby in the manger and goes cosmic: “In the beginning was the Word…” It’s philosophy meets divine truth. John shows Jesus as the eternal Light that darkness can’t comprehend.

🌎 So, Why Does This Matter Today?
Jesus didn’t just come to give you heaven after you die—He came to give you abundant life now.  “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 KJV). That means sound mind, healing, community, truth, and purpose.

Modern science confirms that people of faith tend to live happier, longer, and healthier lives. But more importantly, Jesus offers what no lab or therapist can: eternal life and spiritual rebirth.

A CALL TO SALVATION:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
