Romans 2:8 (KJV) – “But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath.”
Job 20:26-29 (KJV) –26All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle. 27The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the -earth shall rise up against him. 28The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath 29This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.”
Let’s talk about another word for wrath—God’s anger in action. Wrath isn’t just a feeling. It’s a response to evil that goes unrepented. In this lesson, we’ll learn what happens when people steal, hurt others, or live in violence. God sees it all, and He will judge it. This is not about fear, but about truth and justice.

Bible Story Example: Achan’s Secret Sin (Joshua 7 KJV)
Achan stole treasures from Jericho after God clearly said not to take anything. He hid the items under his tent. As a result, Israel lost the next battle, and many died.
Imagine someone hacking into accounts and stealing money online. They may not be caught today, but God sees it. If they don’t turn from it, judgment will come—maybe through the law, maybe through life falling apart. Wrath doesn’t always come as fire—it can show up as lost peace, broken homes, or shame.
What the Scriptures Teach
Romans 2:8 KJV shows that those who fight against truth and live in sin will face God’s burning anger.
Job 20:29 KJV reminds us that those who do wrong, even if they look successful, will get what’s coming—it’s their inheritance from God, and it won’t be good.
Job 20:29 KJV “This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.”
Reflection Question: Have I been honest in all things, or have I hidden sin, thinking no one would notice?
❤️Let your heart be guided by truth—not the world’s ways. God’s judgment is real, but so is His mercy when we repent.

A CALL TO SALVATION:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
