Psalms 32:8  KJV  “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

Dear Truth Seekers,

Today is a rainy morning here in Georgia—a perfect time for a hot cup of coffee and some quiet reflection. Last week, during a morning devotion, I asked God, “Has the world gone crazy?” I wasn’t expecting an answer so quickly, but the Holy Spirit gave me two clear confirmations: one through His Word the next day and another through the message at church on Sunday.

I’ve learned that when something shows up more than once—especially in God’s Word and through the voices of His prophets—it’s no coincidence. That message is clear and true. And this time, I knew the message was for me.  I will share it with you.  Let’s talk,

Letter from the editor's desk

I visited a new church near Emory University last week, just to change things up a bit. The service was uplifting, and I felt the Spirit led me there for a reason. The pastor’s message was on “Mental Health”.

He reminded us that we need rest and proper nourishment to function at our best—physically, mentally, and spiritually. Fatigue affects more than just the body; it clouds the mind and opens the door to confusion and poor judgement.

Then came the “Words” that hit me:
He said, “people often confuse weakness with wickedness and wickedness for weakness because they both have the same symptons”. I concluded that when someone is weak in the Word and Spirit of God, they’re more likely to fall into wickedness.

That’s when I realized God answered my question in a way that I could understand it—the world hasn’t gone mad. It’s just become more wicked.  Who is the author of confusion?  Satan.  The reason a lot of things don’t make sense.  Why do people not change?  They do not fear God. They become wicked. If not wicked, they are weak and do not know any better.

Have you ever wondered why someone close to you—maybe a spouse, sibling, child, co-worker, or friend—did something that didn’t make any sense, even after you’d agreed on something else? Often, it’s because they have an ulterior motive that is not revealed.

It’s usually based on greed, selfishiness or vainity (pride). They’re being influenced by an evil spirit they don’t even recognize. Their thoughts are not their own because they are not living a conscious saved life or God fearing life.

Psalm 55:19 (KJV)
“God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.”

People today are listening to voices that do not fear God. They seek advice from those who don’t know the Word, which is the two-edged sword against evil. Those who aren’t obedient to God aren’t qualified to give godly counsel. Without God’s wisdom, they lack understanding. Without repentance, they give place to the enemy.

Proverbs 11:14 (KJV)
“Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.”

I believe anyone leading in government, school, business, family, or church will do well—if they serve God through Jesus Christ. But once they’re in position, they must not forget who placed them there. Surrounding themselves with unbelievers as close advisors invites sabotage. When we stray from God’s will, we risk losing the vision God gave us.

Even Peter, who loved Jesus deeply, misunderstood Jesus’ mission.

Matthew 16:21–23 (KJV)
Jesus began to show His disciples that He must suffer and be killed, but Peter rebuked Him. Jesus responded, “Get thee behind me, Satan… thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.”

Sometimes even those closest to us won’t understand our calling. That’s why we must have a personal relationship with God—built on worship, prayer, and the truth of His Word.

John 14:15 (KJV)
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

Think of Adam and Eve. Eve listened to the serpent and ate from the “Tree of Life-which God had forbidden”, and Adam followed her and ate of the tree instead of obeying God. The result? Mankind fell.

Genesis 3:17, 19 (KJV)
“Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife… cursed is the ground for thy sake… for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”

In closing, I urge you: Learn God’s commandments. They are not just rules—they are protection. Without them, we are easily deceived and risk falling into a reprobate mind and eventual condemnation.

🙏🙏🙏Those who reject God’s knowledge are given over to wickedness—filled with deceit, disobedience, and no understanding. Even knowing God’s judgment, they take pleasure in evil.  (Romans KJV)

Romans 1:28 – 1:32 KJV

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

🙏🙏🙏 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine… and they shall turn away their ears from the truth.” Many will seek teachers that will teach them what caters to their worldly desires even if it is against the truth-The Word of God. (2Timothy 4:3 KJV)

2 Timothy 4:3 KJV  “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Don’t let that be you. Stay close to God. Let Him guide your steps, clear your path, and strengthen you to stand in the gap for your loved ones. God’s children are wise because he gives us wisdom and knowledge free and for the asking.

James 1:5 KJV  “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights…” James 1:17 (KJV)

A CALL TO SALVATION:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
