Hello ePrayer Circle’s Tribe,
After my morning devotion, I turned to view YouTube and TikTok for Christian news, war and trends. Social media is on fire with news about people with false personas for personal gain. I am sure you have heard. Let’s talk about it.
We live in an age where creating false identities has become alarmingly simple. Whether on dating apps, job applications, or social media platforms, many individuals portray a version of themselves that is far from reality. Recently, stories have circulated on social media regarding Vice President Kamala Harris and allegations of her presenting a false family image, sparking widespread discussion.
But this is not new—people have been deceiving others for years, especially in business scams. CryptoRom, involves scammers convincing victims to invest in fake cryptocurrency exchanges. This type of scam can lead to devastating financial losses for victims who believe they are investing in something legitimate.
Catfishing”, is often associated with romance scams, where someone pretends to be someone else online to deceive others. These scams exploit people’s trust and emotions, often resulting in significant financial and emotional harm. The problem is, no matter how good these false images may seem, confusion and hurt always follows. People be safe out there. Jesus Christ left believers with the Holy Spirit. He will not allow you to be deceived.
The scam that often targets seniors and cheats them out of their homes is typically referred to as real estate or foreclosure fraud.
God is love, and love is rooted in truth. When people step away from the truth, confusion takes hold of their lives. By creating false personas, people are not just deceiving others—they are also deceiving themselves. We are entering times where people feel distant from God, trying to navigate life with their own narratives, relying on lies to shape their identity and path. This only leads to more chaos and pain.
The solution to this confusion is simple: clarity through truth. And that truth comes from God. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6, KJV). When we embrace God’s truth, we find the clarity we need to make sense of our lives. If you are struggling with confusion or feel lost, I encourage you to turn to God, seek His truth, and find salvation in Jesus Christ.
The clarity you seek is in knowing God. Let His truth guide you and bring peace to your life.
1 John 1:7 KJV “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanse us from all sin.”
Truth is central to everything Jesus taught. He lived as an example of truth and emphasized that truth is not only freeing but necessary for salvation. Truth aligns us with God’s will and purifies us. When we seek and live in truth, we reflect Jesus’ love and character, and our lives become a testimony to the world. Truth is the foundation of a relationship with God, and without it, we remain in spiritual darkness.
John 18:37 KJV “Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
How can living in the truth of God’s Word bring clarity and freedom to your life today?
eprayer below asking God to sustain you in his truth and forgiving your sins of untruth.
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come before You humbly, asking for Your grace and mercy. Sustain me in Your truth, O Lord, and help me to live honestly in all that I do. Forgive me for the times I have strayed from truth, for the sins of deceit and untruth that weigh on my heart. Cleanse me, and guide me to walk in Your light, reflecting Your love and truth in my life. I trust in Your forgiveness and thank You for the freedom that comes from living in Your truth, in Jesus name I pray. Amen
May Our Living Hope in Jesus Christ Find You Faithful,
