Hello Christian e Tribe,
As we prepare to step into 2025, it’s the perfect time to reflect on how we can align our hearts and minds with God. This past week, the Spiritual Tune-Up Challenge brought us thought-provoking insights and practical steps to deepen our walk with the Lord. Below are the highlights from the first seven days. There are 8 more days to go. You just decided to take the challenge? You can join anytime without sign-in. Work at your own pace. All Challenges are FREE and available on line 24/7 at your convenience. There is nothing to buy. I invite you to participate and share in the comments below each lesson or on social media. Thank you.
1.”Telling ‘White Lies’: Are They Harmless or Hindering Your Walk With God?”
We examined how even small untruths can erode our spiritual integrity. The challenge encouraged us to embrace honesty, as God desires truth in our inward parts (Psalm 51:6).
2. Finding Your Joy in the Lord – Thy Art Thy Strength
Joy is more than a fleeting emotion; it is a gift from the Lord that sustains us in every season. Reflecting on Nehemiah 8:10, we were reminded that the joy of the Lord is our strength.
3. Letter from the Editor: Agreements and the Power of Discernment in Relationships
Discernment helps us recognize which relationships align with God’s plan for our lives. We explored the importance of godly agreements and how to avoid being unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14).
4. “The Lord is My Shepherd I Shall Not Want”: Letting Go of Worldly Wants to Embrace Spiritual Treasures
Psalm 23 teaches us to trust God fully and prioritize spiritual treasures over earthly desires. Letting go of materialism opens the door to true contentment.
5. Spiritual Tune-Up: “Using God’s Name in Vain: A Habit We Need to Break”
Respecting the name of the Lord is a commandment, not a suggestion (Exodus 20:7). We reflected on the ways we might unintentionally misuse His name and committed to honoring it with reverence.
6. “When Co-Workers Slack Off: Finding Grace When You Want to Snap”
The workplace can test our patience, but Ephesians 4:2 calls us to demonstrate humility and gentleness. This challenge urged us to extend grace and reflect Christ in our actions.
7. Time Management and Abundant Living: A Bible Study
We discovered biblical principles for time management, including seeking first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33). Stewarding our time wisely allows us to live abundantly and fulfill God’s purpose.

Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is the Spirit.
