Beloved Truth Seekers,

Teach me, O Lord, to relax in my situation, knowing You are in charge. Thy joy is my strength. In a world filled with murder, slander, war, rumors of strange sightings in the skies, and warnings about power grids, we must pause and remember who truly rules. Let’s talk about it.

I would like to pause for a moment to reflect on an act of unselfishness that touched many hearts. Within just two weeks of her husband’s death, Charlie Kirk’s wife chose to forgive the man who executed her husband, made her a widow and her children fatherless overnight.

That is not an easy road. Young wives love their husbands deeply, and every day she will see Charlie Kirk’s face in the faces of her children. Forgiveness in such a season of grief is a true testimony of strength and faith. A strength the nation need for healing.  Let’s join in that strength by forgiving each other- loving each other in order to move forward.

The last words of Jesus Christ were spoken as soldiers gambled for His clothes. They pierced His side in mockery. Yet, even in that moment of pain and humiliation, He prayed, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.”  Luke 23:34 KJV

Anyone who carries that kind of love in their heart should never be ridiculed or disrespected. Still, if they mocked Jesus, we can expect that His followers will also face the same treatment.

Forgiveness like this does not come easily. For many, it takes years to even begin reaching such a place—if they ever do. Some people hold on to bitterness for a lifetime over far smaller offenses. Christ’s example reminds us that forgiveness is not weakness but the greatest act of strength and love.

Erika Kirk’s obiedience sets the example that by the Holy Spirit it is possible to be obiedient and rise above the hate and violence so she inturn will not become what tried to make her a victim and an unfit mother -victory is in Jesus Christ.

I do not know Charlie Kirk, his wife, or their family nor his work.  Yet, it is clear that he was widely known and loved by many. I did watch a few videos on line and many response videos. What struck me most was not the political debates surrounding his name, but the reminder that none of us are perfect in our words.

If we judged every person by one or two comment or ideas, we would find no one left to lead. The truth is, ninety-nine percent of people have said—or at least thought—something that could be offensive to another person or race.

I have heard parents call their own children names harsher than I would use toward an adult. Words have weight, but they also reveal our shared humanity. The Bible gives wise counsel in Ecclesiastes 7:21-22 KJV:

“Also take no heed unto all words that are spoken; lest thou hear thy servant curse thee: For oftentimes also thine own heart knoweth that thou thyself likewise hast cursed others.”

These verses remind us of two important truths: we have all spoken poorly at times, and we should be careful not to hold others to a standard of perfection that we ourselves cannot meet. Instead of magnifying offenses, let us magnify grace. In a divided world, forgiveness is still the most powerful act of love. A nation divided cannot stand.  Martin Luther King the 3rd gave an interview a few months ago and he said, “If we do not become non violent we will become non existence”.

Instead of fear, I call for a quietdom, a pause for holy reflection, forgiveness and repentance. Soldiers are called home every day without a trumpet. Life is short. That is why today and tomorrow, I invite you to take 30 minutes of quiet time. Start with prayer. Sit still before the Lord, as Jesus said: “

Psalms 46:10 KJV  “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Recently, people on social media are sharing pictures of war aircraft, aliens, UFO objects, and witchcraft sacrifices in the mountains and the middle east. Yet our God whispers peace. Let us not listen to fear.

Jesus said, ““Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (John 14:27 KJV).

So I call for a holy quiet revival for a plea for forgiveness and repentance with remittance. It is for a healing of all our soul diseases and a moment to wait on God. Listen to God: quietdom, prayerful, centered. The life you save may be your own. The peace you find will surely be from God.

Take a deep breath, beloved. Be still. Be holy. Be strong in the Lord.

A CALL TO SALVATION:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
