Letter From the Editor: Obey God Rather Than Men: God is Real
Dear Truth Seekers and Believers,
In Acts 5:28–33 KJV, the high priest scolded the apostles for teaching in Jesus’ name. Peter answered, “We ought to obey God rather than men” (KJV). That is simple and strong. Jesus already gave us the path: 1) Love God, and 2) Love one another (Matthew 22:37–40, KJV). If we truly did these two, we would not need many rules. The law is “for the lawless and disobedient” (see 1 Timothy 1:9–10, KJV). Love fulfills what long lists try to force.
Today, people still hurt others over beliefs. But God, the Creator, gives every person free will-even those who are against him. If He allows choice, who are we to deny it? Let us pray for all our brothers and sisters around the world—every color, every nation. Pray for protection, provision, love, strength, health, and peace for their families as well. And when needed, may God give them an “Exodus”—a safe way out.
Jesus said, “Be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33, KJV) and “lo, I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20, KJV). Hold that close.

Letter from the editor’s desk
Acts 5:38-33 KJV 28Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. 29Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. 30The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. 31Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. 32And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. 33When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.
A word of hope from my week: My car trouble wore me down. I did not want a car note because I rarely drive. I knew it could be time to car shop. I came home from the repair shop a little sad, but I got a surprise, dinner was ready—salmon steak, green beans, and home made sweet potato fries, a favorite. A few hours later, my daughter gave me part of a surprise bag of winter goodies—warm fun socks, fun cap hats, and house shoes. Her friend owns a clothing store and sold her the goodie bag for $25.
The day before, I told myself to get those items because last year’s were worn out. I never go barefoot. Growing up, I stepped on nails, broken glass, and fruit seeds. So this gift felt extra kind and safe.
God knows what we face because he is predestined, and He cares for us on the way. Big or small, His presence is near if we slow down and notice. Little comforts come right on time. Do not brush them off. The Holy Ghost comforts us in hard times.
I stopped thinking about the car and remembered: everyone has car troubles at one time or another. That is life. But it is okay. Give thanks, breathe, and let your heart rest. Some people when in a bad mood or feeling down, nothing anyone can say or do can bring them out of it. Be careful, they take out those bad feelings on the closet person or children.
Choose obedience to God. Choose love. Choose gratitude—every day, name three things you are thankful for. You will feel your faith stand up again and the attack of the enemy will have no room to work in your life. God is real.
❤️🙏❤️🙏Reflection Question: Where is one place I can obey God today by loving Him or loving a neighbor?
I am sharing this video because it is a testiment that God is real and that he is the creator of all life. This newborn praised God. Enjoy,
Matthew 18:3 KJV “And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
