Dear Truth Seeker and Believer,
People say the best “revenge” is success. I would add the best victory is life, joy, salvation, love, good health, prosperity and peace. The enemy does not want you to have these things. Jesus came to give you these things through his blood of forgiveness of sins with repentenance. We don’t want to waste this gift, our breath and freedom rolling in anger—even when we feel justified. A perfect example are divorced people or long term relationships or partnerships.
Usually people separate mentally from their relationship because of hurt, pain and too many disappointments way before the divorce or break up. After the break up or divorce comes a healing time. If the marriage was a long marriage both persons may need some professinal counseling and then some medication. One thing is for sure, both parties will need God’s love, forgiveness, mercy and grace and through the Holy Spirit guidance and patience. Psalms 147:3 – He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
Stress and bitterness can harm our bodies and our minds. even our relationship with other people. God offers a stronger path. Let’s talk about it.
Some days hit like fierce wind and hard rain—but God rules the storm. Scripture says, “The LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm” (Nahum 1:3, KJV). He is not far away. He is near, and He is in charge. Psalm 107 KJV says He “commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind.” In the Gospels, Jesus stood up in a real storm and said, “Peace, be still.” The wind and the waves obeyed Him (Mark 4:39, KJV). He can calm the weather—and the weather in our hearts.

The Healing Choice of Forgiveness
Forgiveness does not call sin “okay.” Forgiveness means we stop acting as the judge and hand the case to the Righteous Judge. God tells us, “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you” (Ephesians 4:32, KJV). When we forgive, we drop the weight. God carries justice. Nobody said it would be easy—but with Jesus, it is worth it.
Personal Testimony: Freedom and the First Embrace
Recently I watched reports of people released from captivity—some hostages (Israel and Hamas), some prisoners, here and abroad. Some people lost everything they owned except each other, others lost their belongings and watched their families drown and others saw life pass through the fires. Many endured deep suffering—fear, hunger, and pressure to deny their faith.
Not knowing if they would live from one day to the next is hard to imagine. The reunions were powerful: families running, tears flowing, arms open wide. In that first embrace, no one was counting the cost. They were simply thankful to be free, to be alive and to see the people who loved them.
Seeing those moments changed me. I let go of anxious thoughts and uneasy feelings toward anyone. In my heart I said, “I am glad to know Jesus, and I am glad to be alive and free.” Nothing moves me more. By the blood of Jesus Christ, we can offer this same gift—freedom—to others and to ourselves. His blood reconnects, redeems, forgives, and protects. When we forgive, chains fall. When we bless, storms grow quiet.
Reflection Question
Whose “storm” will you place in God’s hands today, and what one act of forgiveness will let Jesus speak to your heart, “Peace, be still”?

A CALL TO SALVATION:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-109That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-65Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
