Scripture— John 1:16-17 KJV “16And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. 17For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. .”
Grace means God’s kind favor that we do not earn. It comes from Jesus. John 1:16 KJV says we receive grace on top of grace—like waves that keep coming to the shore. God’s help, mercy, and strength arrive again and again. When we fail, He lifts us. When we fear, He calms us. When we lack, He provides what we truly need.

Seeing life through the lens of grace changes our heart. We can choose self-pity, or we can choose gratitude. Gratitude opens our eyes. We start to notice small gifts: a kind word, a safe ride home, a clear answer, or quiet peace in prayer. These are not random. They are signs of God’s care.
Grace also teaches us how to live. Because God forgives us, we forgive others. Because God gives to us, we share with others. Because God is patient with us, we practice patience with our family and friends. This is how grace grows in daily life.
Think of Ruth. She was poor and far from home. Yet Boaz showed her favor, and God wrote her into the family line of King David and, later, Jesus. Grace found her in a field and led her into a future. If God did that for Ruth, He can guide you too.
