Chapter 19:  This chapter tells of the events of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.  Pilate had Jesus scourged (whipped) and the soldiers platted a crown of thorns on his head. They put on him a purple robe. The Jews said to crucify Jesus. They had a law that said Jesus ought to die because he made himself the Son of God. John 19:17-19 KJV, And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull.  Where they crucified Jesus and two others with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

Chapter 20:  This chapter tells of the events that led to Jesus being discovered as risen from the dead.  In addition, Jesus proved to the disciples and the unbelieving disciple Thomas that he is real. Jesus gave proof of his resurrection by giving the disciples the Holy Ghost with his breathe. In conclusion, the reason John wrote down the miracles Jesus performed so that others will believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name

Note:  Previously, Jesus told the disciples, he would pray to the father to send the disciples the Holy Spirit.  After the resurrection, Jesus gave the disciples the Holy Spirit Himself, showing a transformation in power. John 14:26 KJV But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

CALL TO SALVATION:

John 3:16  “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-10  9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-6  5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is  the Spirit. (Get Baptized)
