National Say Something Nice Day June 1, 2024
International Children’s Day June 1, 2024 Children’s Day is a commemorative date celebrated annually in honor of children, whose date of observance varies by country. In 1925, International Children’s Day was first proclaimed in Geneva during the World Conference on Child Welfare. Since 1950, it is celebrated on June 1 in many countries.
Ephesians 4:32 KJV “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
The Bible offers guidance on how to treat children with care, respect, and love. In Ephesians 6:4 KJV , it advises: “And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” This verse suggests that parents should not provoke their children to anger or frustration but rather nurture them in a manner consistent with teaching and guiding them in the ways of the Lord.
Additionally, Jesus emphasizes the importance of kindness and love in interactions with others, including children. In Matthew 19:14 KJV, “But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”This highlights the value Jesus places on the innocence and purity of children, encouraging kindness and acceptance towards them.
The rewards of treating children with kindness and love are both spiritual and practical. Spiritually, it aligns with the teachings of Jesus and contributes to one’s spiritual growth and closeness to God. Practically, treating children with kindness fosters healthy relationships, builds trust, and helps them develop into well-adjusted adults. Additionally, it creates a positive environment for learning and growth, both for the children and the adults involved in their upbringing.

Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
