The Return of Christ
It may be in the morning when the day is awaking
When sunlight through darkness and shadow is breaking
That Jesus will come in the fullness of glory
To receive from the world “His own.”
O Lord Jesus, how long, how long beforel we shout the glad song,
Christ returns! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen. Hallelujah! Amen.
It may be at midday, it may be at twilight,
It may be, perchance, that the blackness of midnight
Will burst into light in the blaze of His glory,
When Jesus receives “His own.”
O Lord Jesus, how long, how long before we shout the glad song,
Christ returns! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen. Hallelujah! Amen.
While hosts cry Hosanna, from heaven descending,
With glorified saints and the angels attending,
With grace on His brow, like a halo of glory,
Will Jesus receive “His own.”
O Lord Jesus, how long, how long before we shout the glad song,
Christ returns! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen. Hallelujah! Amen.
Oh, joy! oh, delight! should we go without dying, No sickness, no sadness, no dread, and no crying.
Caught up through the clouds with our Lord into glory,
When Jesus receives “His own.”
O Lord Jesus, how long, how long Ere we shout the glad song,
Christ returns! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Amen. Hallelujah! Amen.

A CALL TO SALVATION:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
