Anger isn’t just an emotion—it’s a spiritual door. The Bible says not to give place to the devil. Holding anger can lead to bitterness and allow spiritual attack.

Scriptures:
Ephesians 4:27 KJV – “Neither give place to the devil.”
1 Peter 5:8 KJV – ““Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”
Galatians 5:17-20 KJV – ““17For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. 18But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

Bible Story:
Judas didn’t forgive or talk to Jesus about his concerns. His secret resentment opened the door to Satan. Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve disciples, allowed hidden resentment to grow in his heart instead of bringing his concerns to Jesus. Though he walked closely with the Lord, witnessing His miracles and hearing His teachings, Judas secretly nursed dissatisfaction—particularly about money and how it was used (John 12:4–6, KJV). Rather than seeking understanding or forgiveness, he let bitterness fester until it became an open door for the enemy. The Bible says, “Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot” (Luke 22:3, KJV), leading him to betray Jesus for thirty pieces of silver (Matthew 26:14–16, KJV). His tragic end is a sobering reminder that unconfessed hurt and unaddressed resentment give Satan room to work, but open communication and forgiveness protect the heart.
Real-World Example:
A woman left her church angry. She stopped praying. Soon, her life felt empty. When she forgave and returned, her peace came back.
Reflection Question:
Is your anger giving the enemy access to your life?

Romans 10:17 KJV “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
A CALL TO SALVATION:
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-10 9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:5-6 5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
