Dear Believers and Truth Seekers,
In my quiet moments of prayer and reflection, I have been thinking deeply about the power of repentance.
Many people long for healing, peace, and grace, yet they resist the very doorway that leads to it.
Repentance is not weakness. Repentance is wisdom. Let’s talk about it.

Letter from the editor’s desk
I once spoke with a relative, a retiring psyc nurse, about why it seems that as people get older, they get stubborn, greedy and harsh? They want to run everything.
She quietly replied that they had always been that way. In earlier years, they simply hid those traits. Age revealed what was already in the heart.
This truth stayed with me. Why spend years hiding harmful attitudes when we can surrender them to God now?
People will like you better when you are a senior and you may need your family or someone to care for you. Maybe, your adult children.
This is a sobering thought. She said, Others were wounded in their past and learned to survive by building emotional walls.
Over time, those walls can turn into coldness toward others.
Repentance is an invitation to healing. 1 John 1:9 KJV promises that if we confess our sins, God is faithful to forgive and cleanse us.
Through prayer, the Holy Spirit softens our hearts and renews our minds. The blood of Jesus restores dignity, peace, and purpose.
The Bible teaches that some people grow so hardened in their ways that they stop recognizing right from wrong.
Romans 1:28 KJV explains that when truth is rejected long enough, a person can be given over to a reprobate mind.
Romans 1:28 KJV 28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
In everyday life, we sometimes meet people who never apologize. They believe saying “I am sorry or I apologize” makes them small. Yet Scripture shows the opposite.
Numbers 12:3 KJV tells us that Moses, one of the greatest leaders in history, was very humble. His humility opened the door for God’s favor, guidance, and wisdom.
A humble heart attracts the presence of God.
“(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)” Numbers 12:3 KJV
Today is a good day to repent, to forgive, and to grow. Before the righteous Judge, humility becomes strength, and grace becomes our path forward.
Repentance begins by calling out our sins honestly before God.
It means agreeing with Him that we were wrong. Scripture says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9, KJV).
True growth cannot happen if we refuse to admit our faults. Confession brings freedom.
Luke 17:3 KJV 3Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
5And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
6And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

The Bible also teaches the healing power of mutual honesty. ““Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”(James 5:16, KJV).
Repentance is not only private; it restores relationships and builds spiritual strength.
Jesus gave a clear warning about refusing to repent. “Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3, KJV).
Unrepentance can lead to the sin of unforgiveness- giving legal grounds to evil in the sinners life and family. This is how destinies are stolen and people are robbed and killed.
When we do not admit wrong, we hold tightly to pride and block the grace that could change us. Yet God eagerly forgives what we sincerely bring before Him.
This is the difference between the righteous and the sinner. On our own, we are all the same — flawed and in need of mercy.
But “the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin”(1 John 1:7, KJV).
Grace makes us righteous when we turn to Him in faith.
Instead of hiding harmful traits, why not surrender them now? Pray. Repent. Receive cleansing. Before the righteous Judge, a humble heart becomes strong, and grace becomes the path to healing and new life.

Romans 10:9-109That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
