Pride builds walls. Humility builds bridges.

Jesus humbled Himself—even unto death (Philippians 2:8 KJV). If Christ humbled Himself for reconciliation, how much more should we?

Philippians 2:8  KJV  “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

Bible Story: Abigail humbled herself before David (1 Samuel 25). Her humility prevented bloodshed.

1 Samuel 25:25  KJV  “Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is, so is he;

Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I thine handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom thou didst send.”

Counseling research shows humility lowers defensiveness and increases relational repair.

Reconciliation rarely happens without someone choosing humility first.

Humility is strength under control.

Romans 10:9-109That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
