Fear is loud. It predicts disaster before evidence appears. It whispers worst-case scenarios. But grace speaks louder.
Paul wrote 2 Timothy while imprisoned. He did not promise Timothy comfort. He promised him courage. Fear is not from God. Power, love, and a sound mind are.
In Numbers 13 KJV, twelve spies viewed the Promised Land. Ten saw giants. Two saw God. The difference was perspective. Grace does not remove giants—it strengthens vision.
Real-world experience: Anxiety rates have risen globally. Much of it stems from uncertainty about the future. Yet believers who anchor themselves in God’s promises show greater emotional resilience. Faith re-centers the mind.
Grace strengthens your inner stability. When you trust God’s character, fear loses authority.
Faith is not denial. It is confidence in God despite circumstances.
Psalm 62: 5-8 KJV 5My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
6He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
7In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
