(Christian Teaching – King James Version)
This post explains what the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible teaches about God’s nature. Christianity is clear and consistent on this subject. While other religions may teach differently, this explanation is strictly Christian and rooted in Scripture.
The Bible teaches there is one God, and there are three persons in the Godhead: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are one God.
This lesson will simply bring clarity to who God is, reveal His identity as Father, and explain His creation of male and female. Let’s get started.

The nature of God: Omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient
The bible teaches us that God is all powerful (omnipotent), everywhere (omnipresent), all knowing and predestined (omniscient). What is too hard for man is not too hard for God. Time and distance are not barriers to his powers.
✔️ Omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient are the three primary “omni” attributes defining God’s nature in theology, signifying all-powerful, everywhere-present, and all-knowing, respectively.
These terms describe a deity with unlimited power, total knowledge of past/present/future, and simultaneous existence everywhere., respectively. These terms describe a deity with unlimited power, total knowledge of past/present/future, and simultaneous existence everywhere.
Revelation 19:6 KJV “And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.”
Jeremiah 23:24 KJV “Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.” (omnipresent)
Isaiah 46:9-10 KJV 9Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: (omniscient)

Alt tag: #Omnipotent. Matthew 19:26 all things are possible with God
The Bible repeatedly and clearly states that there is only one God. He is not human. God is a spirit who reveals himself as the Father.
“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me.”
This truth is foundational to Christianity. God is not one among many gods. He is the only true God, eternal, and sovereign over all things.
“Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,”
“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”
God reveals Himself to humanity as Father, and Jesus teaches us to pray to the Father this way:
““After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.””
Father reveals authority, leadership, care, provision, and relationship. This is divine order and headship.
Romans 2:11 (KJV) teaches that God shows no favoritism—He judges all people fairly and justly, without regard to status, background, or position.
Romans 2:11 KJV “For there is no respect of persons with God.”

Jesus and God: One Divine Nature, Not Multiple Gods
Scripture teaches that Jesus came from God and returned to God, sharing the same divine nature.
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2The same was in the beginning with God.
3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
😇😇😇Jesus is the living Word. He was with God, was God, and is God – the Creator of all things. He is also the Son of God (flesh)- the lamb of God – the sacrifice.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us…”
Jesus, the living word, came to earth in human form, yet He existed before creation.

Alt tag: #The Blood of Jesus Christ
Jesus sacrifice is complete and final.
Jesus came in human form, not to display His divine status, but to fulfill God’s plan: salvation, redemption, and to establish the church—The Bride of Christ. He came as the Son of God in the flesh, because a physical sacrifice with blood was required. Through the shedding of His blood, sin is forgiven and salvation is offered to all humanity.
According to Romans 10:13 KJV, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved”. This commonly cited biblical promise indicates that salvation is available to anyone who sincerely calls on Jesus for salvation, trusts in His work, and recognizes Him as Lord.
Jesus sacrifice is complete and final. One Man offered Himself once, and that offering is sufficient forever. There is no need for another sacrifice to God.
“For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”
This passage confirms that Jesus’ sacrifice was complete, eternal, and fully accepted by God, bringing forgiveness, transformation, and a restored relationship with Him.
“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
After His earthly work, Jesus returned to the bosom of the Father—not to become a separate god, but to return to His eternal place with God.
“The only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.”

Jesus: The Exact Image and Fullness of God
The Bible teaches that God made Himself fully known through Jesus Christ.
“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person…”
Jesus is the exact image of God’s person. The phrase express image means a perfect imprint—what God is in essence, Jesus reveals in form.
“Who is the image of the invisible God…”
God is invisible, but He made Himself known through Jesus.
“For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
All the fullness of God dwells in Jesus—not partially, but completely.

Jesus Revealed as Mighty God and Everlasting Father
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given… and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
This prophecy reveals that the Son who is born carries divine authority. God made Himself known through the Son while remaining eternal and sovereign in heaven.
“Before Abraham was, I am.”
With this statement, Jesus identified Himself with the eternal name of God. He declared eternal existence and divine authority.
Colossians 2: 9-10 KJV 9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
The Godhead Bodily – The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Trinity)
The Trinity means there is one God who reveals Himself as Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit, equal in nature and purpose, yet they are distinct in role and relationship, all working together in perfect unity as one.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Romans 10:9-109That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.
The Christian faith practices baptism, and Jesus Himself was baptized.
John 3:5-65Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
The Christian faith practices communion because Jesus commanded His followers to remember Him through it. Eating of the bread and drinking of the wine.
Luke 22:19–20 (KJV)
“And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.”
✔️ The word Trinity simply helps believers explain this biblical faith in an orderly way without adding or changing Scripture.

The Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit is God’s living presence and Helper, sent to teach, guide, and remind believers of God’s truth. The third of the God Head.
Jesus said, ““But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” (John 14:26, KJV).
John 20:22 (KJV). After His resurrection and before His ascension, Jesus appeared to His disciples and breathed on them, saying:
“And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.”
Scripture also shows His divine nature and authority: “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” (2 Corinthians 3:17, KJV).

Creation of Man and Woman
Man is made in the image of God.
“Let Us Make Man in Our Image”
Some ask why God says “us” if there is only one God.
“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness…”
This does not teach many gods. It reveals God’s divine unity—Father, Word (Son), and Spirit—working together while remaining one God. This unity appears in creation, redemption, and salvation. The Christian faith refers to this unity as the Trinity.
“So God created man in his own image… male and female created he them.”
Man reflects God’s image. Together man and woman, humanity reflects God’s design.
Why God Created Woman
After creating man, God made an important observation.
“It is not good that the man should be alone…”
God created woman from man’s rib—not from his head to rule over him, nor from his feet to be beneath him, but from his side to walk with him.
This reflects God’s design for reproduction, relationship, order, and companionship.
While a woman has biological differences from a man, those differences are real and measurable.
This is supported by science, particularly in areas such as medical and surgical considerations, where male and female bodies are treated differently due to their distinct biological design.

Creation Proves There Is One God. There will be no excuse not to believe that God exists.
“All things were made by him…”
Genesis 1:1 KJV “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”
Look to the things created as nature to know there is a God. Order, life, purpose, and design all point to one Creator, not many gods.

Why We Pray in Jesus’ Name (Forgiveness)
Jesus came in the flesh so that sin could be judged and forgiven. His body was the sacrifice, and His blood covers our sins when we repent our sins in prayer.
Christians pray in Jesus’ name so they may be presented blameless before God. By praying in His name, believers also acknowledge His sacrifice and stand under His authority, protected from the accusations and attacks of Satan. (Christian belief based on the King James Bible)
“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”
“Remission” means forgiveness or removal of sin. This verse teaches that forgiveness requires a sacrifice, which is fulfilled completely in Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed once for all.
“I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
This verse teaches that access to the Father comes only through Jesus Christ, because He and the Father are one in nature and purpose. This is a central point where Christianity differs from other belief systems. While many religions may acknowledge Jesus as a prophet or teacher, they do not accept His crucifixion, His role as Savior, or the necessity of praying in His name.
According to the Christian faith, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit that belief is not sufficient or acceptable for salvation. Scripture teaches that salvation, forgiveness, and communion with God are made possible only through Jesus Christ.
Philippians 2:9 KJV “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:”
Philippians 2:9-15 KJV 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. 14Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
