Hello Believers and Truth Seekers,

After my morning devotion, I came across a verse that answered a prayer I had been carrying for several days. I had been asking the Lord a simple but important question: What should I teach in the Daily Scripture Explained devotions in 2026? What should the focus be outside of the 45 Days to Learn the Gospel Challenge?

As I opened my Bible, my eyes fell on Ezekiel 44:23 (KJV). In that moment, the answer became clear. God calls His leaders to teach His people the difference between what is holy and what is unholy, what is clean and what is unclean. So many people are confused today. As believers, we must know God’s truth, live by it, and share it clearly.

✔️🙏❤️🙏 Ezekiel 44:23 (KJV) :  “And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.”

What a powerful revelation. God desires His people to live blamelessly—not in fear, but in obedience—so He may rule over and protect our lives. As we pray toward 2026, my prayer is this:

Father,

Please allow your Holy Spirit to help each of us to walk in truth and live what we speak. We repent our sins known and unknown. Teach us to discern between what is holy and unholy, clean and unclean, and lead us in repentance. As members of Your royal priesthood, a holy and set-apart people, help us teach the Gospel to our families and neighbors “Good News Of Jesus Christ”.

Lord Jesus, take control of our time and our calendars, aligning our days with Your will and purpose. May our lives bear good fruit for Your kingdom. You know what we need. As it is written: Matthew 6:33 KJV  “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As I prayed and to the Lord, He impressed two more clear visions on my heart for 2026—each one guiding how we are to live, pray, and walk faithfully in the days ahead.  Let’s talk about it.

Did you know one of the enemy’s greatest strategies is to control your time? When he controls your time, he influences your focus—and when focus is lost, direction soon follows.  Whoever or whatever controls your time controls your destiny. It can be sleep, friends, laziness, drinking, overeating, etc…

Last year, I shared an article about creating a Prayer Vision Board—a way to combine your goals with scripture and prayer so your plans align with God’s will.

After prayer and praise, the Lord reminded me of something important: this is about salvation. The enemy is real, and he gains a foothold when he provokes us to anger, distraction, or compromise. But remember this—success comes from God. And yes, the Bible is unfolding before our eyes.

The days may grow darker, but we are not powerless. We have authority in Christ—as long as we do not become what we are fighting against. Heaven must be able to recognize us as forgiven, redeemed, and walking in the light. We all fall short of God’s glory, but repentance keeps us clean.

1 Thessalonians 5:22 (KJV) – “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”

Revelation 21:8 (KJV) – “But the fearful, and unbelieving… and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

Romans 13:13 (KJV) – “Let us walk honestly, as in the day…”

1 John 2:1 (KJV) – “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”

✔️🙏❤️🙏  The second vision the Lord placed on my heart comes from Matthew 5:43–44 (KJV). Jesus teaches us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, do good to those who hate us, and pray for those who mistreat us. This kind of love is not easy—but it is powerful. It guards our hearts and keeps our faith strong.

Satan (evil) will provoke a lot of people especially believers.  His time is short.  If you do not have a church home please find one. Keep searching the benefits of connection is powerful.   The church is made of imperfect people so the pefectness in the church is the Holy Spirit in its members- you.

Matthew 5:43–44 (KJV)
“Love your enemies, bless them that curse you… and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.”

At the center of everything is this command: love God and love one another. Jesus also reminds us in Matthew 7:5 (KJV) to remove the beam from our own eye before judging others. Repentance must always come first. Humility keeps us aligned with God.

Matthew 7:5 (KJV)
“First cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly…”

🙏❤️🙏❤️   The third vision is a call for focused, intentional prayer within the church—especially prayers connected to current events that affect our daily lives. Too many Christians hear the news but do not remember to pray about what they are seeing.

Many do not know the biblical interpretations of what they are seeing or hearing. In other words, the prophets over the congregation must pray with the people specific and BIG prayers. We have a BIG GOD who can do all things. When two or more come together in my name it shall be granted. When we commune together in God’s house we have power.

When a comet or a foreign object was spotted coming to earth and it would cause great harm.  It is the prayers that caused God to dismantle it while it traveled in the heavens.  We can do these things.  Many churches prayer life have come down to two or three sentences.

Some have alter prayer and I love that. We are going to have to step up the praying because the times call for the prophets to take authority.

We must pray for our neighborhoods, our nation, our churches, leaders, other nations and for themselves to remain obedient and holy. We must pray for protection, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. And we must never forget the most vulnerable among us—widows and children across the world who cannot yet protect themselves.

I would also love to see churches offer communion more often, so no one misses the opportunity to remember Christ and His sacrifice. I pray that church leaders and prophets regularly cover their congregations in prayer—for love, health, provision, protection, and peace. We are in a spiritual battle, and prayer is our weapon.

2 Corinthians 10:3–6 (KJV)
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God…”

If we keep our vision aligned with these truths, we will stand—even through the strongest storms. It will not always be easy, but it will be worth it. We will endure and come out in victory through our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

 ✔️🔥❤️🙏 Writing your vision 2026

As you write your vision for 2026—personal, physical, and spiritual—don’t hide it away. Place it where you will see it daily: on your refrigerator, your phone screen, a wall poster, or a piece of artwork that is your own.

Do this with your children as well. Give them a simple vision to pray over and teach them to trust God with their time, needs, and desires. His grace is sufficient. This practice will help them through difficult school days and uncertain moments.

My daughter memorized a couple of scriptures when she was in grade school that she would recall to herself during her down days in school and life.  She told me after her college graduation, the word never loses its power.

I love faith-based scripture artwork and keep it throughout my home.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
“Be still and know that I am God.”

These visuals have helped me stay focus and redirect my time during emotional times, especially grief and anger. This is how we RISE.

Deuteronomy 6:6–9 (KJV)
“And these words… shall be in thine heart… and thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.”
