Your worth comes from who made you, not what you’ve done.

Scripture: Matthew 10:31 KJV — “Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.”

💔 The Quiet Battle We Don’t Talk About

Almost everyone, at some point, silently asks the same painful question:
“Am I really worth anything?”

Maybe someone walked away from you.
Maybe you were overlooked.
Maybe you made mistakes and feel like you broke something inside.
Maybe life has pushed you so hard that you started to believe lies about yourself.

When life gets heavy, you can start seeing yourself through the eyes of people who hurt you instead of the God who created you.

But here is the truth the enemy doesn’t want you to know:

💛 You are worth it.
Not because you are perfect, but because God says you are His.

🌟 Seeing Yourself Through God’s Eyes

God’s Word never describes you as broken-down, disposable, or “not enough.” Instead, Scripture uses powerful language:

You are chosen

Ephesians 1:4 KJV — “He hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world.”

Ephesians 1:4KJV  “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:”

Before you were born, He wanted you.

You are loved

Jeremiah 31:3 KJV — “I have loved thee with an everlasting love.”

Jeremiah 31:3 KJV The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Not temporary love… everlasting.

You are valuable

Matthew 10:31 KJV — “Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.”

Jesus Himself said heaven watches over you.

You are God’s masterpiece

Ephesians 2:10 KJV — “For we are his workmanship.”

Ephesians 2:10 KJV  “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

The word “workmanship” means “a work of art.”

And God doesn’t make mistakes.

Psalms 139:14 KJV – I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Bible Story

The Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11–24 KJV) thought he had ruined everything. After demanding his inheritance early, he left home, wasted all of it on reckless living, and ended up broke, hungry, and ashamed. Feeling completely unworthy, he rehearsed a speech to beg his father for a job as a servant.

But before he could even reach the house, his father ran to him, hugged him, and welcomed him back with joy.

The father didn’t shame him—he restored him. He put a robe on him, a ring on his hand, and celebrated his return. In the same way, God runs toward us when we come back to Him. Even when we feel unworthy or broken, His love covers our failures and welcomes us home with open arms.

🌍 Real-World Example

A young woman named Crystal often heard negative words growing up—“You’re too much,” “You’ll never be anything,” “Nobody wants you.” She carried those labels into adulthood.

One day she read Isaiah 43:4. She paused at the words:  Isaiah 43:4 KJV — “Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee.”

For the first time she realized: “If God calls me precious, then no one has the right to call me worthless.”

From that day forward, she started replacing lies with truth.
“I’m not abandoned—I’m chosen.”
“I’m not broken—I’m being built.”
“I’m not worthless—I’m loved.”

Her healing began when she switched the mirror she was looking into.

After years of insecurity, Naomi began declaring God’s Word each morning: “I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” Over time, her self-image healed.

✝️ Why You Are Worth It (Biblically)

  1. You carry the image of God.
Genesis 1:27 KJV — “In the image of God created he him.”

  2. He paid a high price for you.
1 Peter 1:18–19 KJV — “Redeemed… with the precious blood of Christ.”

  3. He planned your life with purpose.
Jeremiah 29:11 KJV — “Thoughts of peace… to give you an expected end.”

  4. He knows you completely yet loves you fully.
Psalm 139:1–4, 14 KJV — “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

  5. He refuses to leave you.
Hebrews 13:5 KJV — “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

You are worth it because God Himself declared your worth.

🌱 Transformation — How to See Yourself Through God’s Eyes

Here are simple daily steps:

1. Speak God’s Word over your life.

Replace “I’m not enough” with “I am God’s workmanship” (Ephesians. 2:10 KJV ).

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”

2. Remember who created you.

If God calls you precious, don’t downgrade yourself.

Isaiah 43:4 KJV — “Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee.”

3. Forgive yourself.

God already did (1 John 1:9 KJV). Stop reopening wounds He has healed-forgive yourself.

1 John 1:9 KJV  “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

4. Surround yourself with people who speak life.

God often heals identity through healthy community.

Ephesians 2:6 KJV  “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”

5. Practice gratitude for who you are becoming.

Every day you’re growing, maturing, and transforming.

1 Peter 2:9 KJV  “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”

💬 Takeaway

You are worth it because God says you are—and His voice is the only one that defines you.

Romans 10:9-109That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-65Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
