Praise Sunday: #Pray -Koryn Hawthorne

This author encourages everyone to please cover children, loved ones, spouses, friends, and family members with prayer daily.  Pray before you leave your house so you are covered as well. Later, you may get busy and forget.  The act of prayer can be a powerful way to express love and concern for others.

Consider lifting those who might benefit from extra support, especially seniors, disabled persons, widows, the motherless and fatherless children.  Don’t forget to include a scripture, then end your prayer in Jesus’ name. Finally, complete your prayer request with a praise song. You are blessing them by loving them when you pray for them.  The Lord expects us to pray for others.

 

Matthew 26:41KJV  “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

James 5:16 – Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

1 Timothy 2:1KJV “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;”

Hebrews 4:16 KJV  “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

Isaiah 55:11KJV  “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”
