Back on Track – God Never Moved
When you feel far from God, guess who moved?

Scripture: James 4:8 KJV – “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you…”

The Pain Point: Feel Distant from God?
Maybe life’s been overwhelming. You stopped praying like you used to. Your Bible is collecting dust. You feel numb when you worship. And now you wonder, “Why does God feel so far away?” It’s painful. Confusing. Even discouraging.

But here’s the truth: God didn’t move. We did.

The Solution: Move Back—God Will Meet You Instantly
James 4:8 KJV is a powerful promise: if you draw close to God, He’ll come close to you. He’s not hiding. He’s waiting.

He’s not mad—you don’t have to fear Him. You just need to come sincerely. Repent. Reset. Reconnect. There is no shame in turning around. There is only restoration. Don’t delay the comeback God already planned.

He’s not measuring your distance—He’s welcoming your return.

Takeaway: God’s Not Mad—He Misses You

Even when you fall short, God’s love remains constant. You can realign. You can restart.  You’re not too far. You’re just one turn away. He’s still where you left Him. Waiting with open arms.

A Message of Hope During the Storms

From 1 Thessalonians 4:11–16 (KJV)

The Bible tells us in verse 11 to “study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands.

This means we should live in peace, stay focused on the work God has given us, and not stir up trouble.

Even when disasters like floods come, we are reminded to stay calm, help each other, and trust God with our lives and our time.

When floods strike cities and homes in Texas, Mexico, North Carolina, and D.C., many people lose everything—but this verse tells us we don’t have to lose hope.

In verses 13–14, Paul says he doesn’t want us to be sad like people who “have no hope.

He reminds us that if we believe Jesus died and rose again, then even those who have died believing in Him are not gone forever. They will rise again when Jesus returns.

In verse 16, it says, “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout…” One day, Jesus will return, and those who have died in Christ will rise first.

That means death isn’t the end. For believers, it’s a pause before eternal life with God.

Even during natural disasters, we can hold onto our faith. Floods may take away homes and lives,

but they can’t take away our hope in Christ. This world is not our forever home. We must comfort each other and prepare our hearts.

A CALL TO SALVATION:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-109That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-65Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
