Your calling can’t be fulfilled with excuses.

Scripture: John 5:8 KJV – “Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.”

Too Many Reasons, Not Enough Movement

You’ve got ideas. Dreams. A calling. A nudge from God. But also? A list of reasons why now isn’t the time. “I’m too old.” “I don’t have money.” “People won’t support me.” “What if I fail?”

Like the man at the pool in John 5, you’ve been lying down in excuses too long.

The Solution: Take Up Your Bed and Walk
Jesus didn’t ask the man if he felt ready. He told him to rise.
No excuses. No delays. Just action.

Your bed represents the place you’ve been stuck. When you take it up, you’re saying, “I won’t be defined by this anymore.”
You don’t need perfect conditions. You need obedience. And that first step is where the healing begins.
