Loving others doesn’t mean losing yourself.
Scripture: Matthew 10:16 KJV – “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”

The Pain Point: 
You keep giving. Forgiving. Helping. But the more you love, the more drained you feel. People cross the line, use your kindness, or treat you like a doormat. And now you’re asking, “Is this what love is supposed to feel like?”

It hurts to love without limits. But the good news is—you’re allowed to set boundaries.

Jesus loved deeply. But He also withdrew from crowds, walked away from people who didn’t believe, and protected His mission. Matthew 10:16 reminds us to be wise and gentle. That’s balance. That’s spiritual maturity.

Setting boundaries isn’t a lack of love—it’s wise love. Love says, “I’ll help you, but I won’t let you harm me.” Boundaries protect the fruit of the Spirit in your life.

You can say no and still walk in love. Jesus did.
