Jeremiah 7:23  KJV  “But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people:

and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.”

Obey my voice

“We are living in a time when many people are connected to everything except God: entertainment, anger, pride, social media, lust, greed, fear, drugs, alcohol, gambling,

and constant negative noise disguised as ‘freedom of speech’ are slowly replacing prayer, worship, holiness, communion,  peace, grace, truth, forgiveness, and true devotion.

Spiritual warfare is not always dramatic or visible. Sometimes the greatest attack against the soul is distraction.”

This is the reason ” there will be a great falling away during the end times”.   Many will be given up to a reprobate mind (do not know wrong from right) and will be overtaken by evil, diseases, aliens and creatures.

 28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Then the separation starts: The righteous in Jesus Christ is separated from the falling away.  See Luke 12:51 – 55 KJV below.

However, judgement day is not yet.

2 Thessalonians 2:3  KJV  “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.”

1 Thessalonians 5:17  KJV  “Pray without ceasing.”

Jesus prays for believers

Jesus warned believers to stay spiritually awake.

In Luke 12:50-56 KJV, Jesus explained that truth would bring division, even inside families.

Some would follow God, while others would reject Him.

Jesus rebuked the people because they could read the weather but could not discern the spiritual times they were living in.

51Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

52For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

53The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter,

and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

54And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is.

55And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.

56Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?

The reason many people do not follow Jesus or refuse to recognize Him is because the spirit of this world is evil and already knows that Jesus has defeated it.

The world stands condemned, and darkness resists the light of Christ because His truth exposes sin and brings judgment.

John 7:7 KJV  “The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.”

The spirit of the world knows Jesus is the Son of God in the Flesh and the Creator.

Just look at the no 1 nation in the world- Unites States and no. 2 Russia both the largest Christian nations in the world.

Luke 12:51 – 55 KJV

51Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

52For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

 53The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother;

the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

God-created-the-world

John 1:10-12 KJV

10He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

1 John 2:15 – 2:16  KJV     15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.

If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Revelation 12:9-12 KJV reveals the seriousness of spiritual warfare:
“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world…”

Satan is called the deceiver of the whole world because his greatest weapon is deception.

He blinds people with distractions, confusion, bitterness, addictions, offense, pride, false teaching, and spiritual laziness.

But believers overcome “by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony.”  Pleading the blood and confessing Jesus Christ is Lord.

Revelation 12:9-12 KJV     9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:

he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ:

for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them.

Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath,

because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Why communion and baptism matter.

Jesus commanded communion because it reminds believers of His sacrifice, covenant, forgiveness, and victory over sin and death.

Jesus taught that believers must remain connected to Him spiritually.

Communion is not just tradition. It is remembrance, honor, self-examination, and spiritual agreement with Christ.

John 14: 23 KJV    23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words:

and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Baptism is also important because it represents death to the old life and resurrection into a new life with Christ. Even Jesus Himself was baptized.

When John hesitated, Jesus said it must be done “to fulfil all righteousness” (Matthew 3:13-17 KJV).

13Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. 14But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me?

15And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.

16And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:

17And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Baptism does not replace repentance, but it is an act of obedience and public identification with Christ.

In Acts 19:1-6 KJV, Paul met believers who had not yet received the Holy Ghost because they had not fully understood baptism through Jesus Christ.

In another account, the sons of Sceva tried to cast out demons without truly walking with God, and the evil spirit answered:

“Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?” — Acts 19:15 KJV

Spiritual warfare is real. One of the greatest trick of Satan is make people think anything they do is OK. We cannot live any way, say anything we want and expect spiritual strength, peace, and protection.

Jesus taught the greatest commandments:
Love God and love one another (Matthew 22:37-39 KJV).

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Let go of unforgiveness.
Let go of bitterness.
Let go of constant offense.
Let God handle vengeance.

Isaiah 54:17 KJV reminds believers: “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.

This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.”

Note:  Condeming words in the name of Jesus – is to cancel them so that they cannot take root into your life.

God is still protecting, guiding, and keeping His people.

But we must stay close to Him: prayer, repentance, obedience, fasting, scripture, worship, baptism, communion, and love.

Yes! All of that.  Be able to cover others in prayer.  We work because we are saved not to get saved. We are made to do good works.

Ephesians 2:8  KJV  “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:”

Ephesians 2:10 KJV  “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

You are not saved by acts or works but we are obiedient and do all those things because we are saved, repent and therefore, live HOLY lives.

To study the bible is to know why and how we do these things.

2 Timothy 2:15  KJV  “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

reflection and discussion    Reflection:   “Do you have a consistent devotion schedule that helps you spend daily time building your relationship with God?”  🙏🙏🙏  Below are some ideas to adopt to your schedule.

Be ready so you do not have to get ready.

A devotion schedule is not about religious performance.

It is about building a real relationship with God through consistency, worship, prayer, fellowship, obedience, and love.

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” — Acts 2:42 KJV

Grow in God daily

History teaches us how quickly life can change. Entire cities have fallen through wars, storms, earthquakes, tornadoes, and tragedy. Families have gone to sleep peacefully and awakened in disaster. Some have lost homes, health, finances, and even loved ones overnight.

Jesus warned believers to recognize the times.

Do not live in fear.
Live prepared.

A CALL TO SALVATION: Read scripture below.

Offer of Salvation John 3:15

Alt tag: #Offer of Salvation John 3:15 KJV

A CALL TO SALVATION:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Romans 10:9-109That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation.

John 3:5-65Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7
