Introduction
Life can feel shaky when the world changes so quickly. Jobs are lost, health fails, and even trusted systems collapse. Yet in the middle of life’s uncertainty, Psalm 145 KJV gives us a blessed assurance: God’s kingdom never ends. Unlike human kingdoms, His rule is everlasting and unshakable. These verses remind us that our Heavenly Father is both King and Provider, lifting us up when we fall and feeding us in due season.

Scripture Reading
Psalm 145:13–17 (KJV)
13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.
14 The LORD uphold all that fall, and raise up all those that be bowed down.
15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.
16 Thou open thine hand, and satisfies the desire of every living thing.
17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.
Blessed Assurance in God’s Kingdom
King David, the psalmist in this passage (Psalm 145) is speaking of God. David paints a picture of security in God. His dominion lasts forever, His compassion reaches the broken, and His open hand satisfies every living thing. This is not temporary comfort—it is eternal truth. We can lay down our burdens knowing that the Lord is righteous and holy in all He does.
PSALM 145 (David’s Psalm of praise.) I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. 2Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. 3Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Bible Story Example
Consider Elijah during the drought (1 Kings 17 KJV). When resources dried up and hope seemed gone, God still fed His servant. Ravens carried food to Elijah, and later, a poor widow’s oil and meal never ran out. This was God’s assurance in action—He gave bread in due season and proved His faithfulness to those who trusted Him.
Real-World Example
Even today, many believers testify that when their strength failed, God lifted them up. A family might receive groceries when money ran short, or a friend might show up with encouragement at the exact right moment. These are not coincidences—they are living proofs of Psalm 145:16: “Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.”

Heavenly Father,
I thank You that Your kingdom is everlasting and Your rule has no end. Tonight, as I lay down to rest, I remember that You uphold those who fall and lift those who are bowed down. Lord, lift my spirit and give me peace.
My eyes wait upon You, knowing that You provide in due season. Open Your hand, Lord, and satisfy my heart with Your presence. I trust that You are righteous in all Your ways and holy in all Your works.
Keep me safe through the night. Guard my mind from worry and my heart from fear. Let me rest in the blessed assurance that You are always with me, and that tomorrow is in Your hands.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
